[size=5]Golden Cornbread[/size] (serves: 6-8) 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 C. milk ¼ C. oil, or melted shortening 1½ C. yellow cornmeal 1 C. all purpose flour (Bobs Redmill) ¼ C. sugar 2¼ t. baking powder ¾ t. salt __________________________________________________ heat oven to 450°F. Grease an 8 or 9 inch square pan. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, and mix well. Pour batter into pan. bake for 20-25 minutes. |
