for those of you who cringe at the thought of mixing different types of Soda together, bear with me. some of the creations are actualy quite good. :)

for those of you who suddenly want to run home and pour every 2-liter bottle in the house into a giant vat, you may wanna hold up on that too :P

i dont know many of the various recipes, but i have tried some; and by far my favorites involve Root Beer, and Dr. Pepper.

3 parts Root Beer + 1 part Dr. Pepper = Root Beer with a Kick

Half and Half, and the reverse (more Dr. Pepper than Root Beer) are also tasty.

you can also add a little Coke or Pepsi, or whatever other Flavors you like. just make a little test batch, before you go for the Big Gulp.

Have fun experimenting, and post em up if you catch a winner ^_^

Iced tea + Sprite = no. Seriously, I was feeling adventurous one day, and I tried it. It's terrible.

Ice Tea + Raspberry syrup, or strawberry syrup, or any fruit syrup = Yum!

Here is a good old fashioned tea recipe for you guys to try this summer:

Sun Tea
9 bags of Lipton tea(or whatever your favorite is)
A clear 4 qt container, preferably glass. They are usually available around this time of year at most supermarkets or variety stores.
Fill with cold water.
Leave it out in direct sunlight for 4-5 hours.
Pour over a tall glass full of ice.
I guarantee that you will enjoy this tea more than any other that you will have. Mother Nature makes absolutely the best tea in the world. You dont even need any sugar for it!

There is no sugar, however, the flavor is better, and does not require sweetener. At least in my opinion. I ususally use a sweetener in regular brewed tea. I like the taste, but its too bitter. Sun tea is not so bitter, but very mild with a good flavor.

When I worked at McDonald's for three years between high school and college, my favorite quick drink (since they didn't have Mountain Dew) was 4 parts Sprite to 1 part Orange soda -- that was pretty good.
