doesn't take long, and isn't difficult to make.

Ingredients:

  • Pasta
  • Water
  • Pasta Sauce
  • Cooking oil (optional)
  • Butter (optional)
  • Seasonings (optional)
  • Paremsan Cheese (optional)
get a pot of water (1/2 to 3/4 full)

bring it to a boil (starting with hot water speeds it up)

add a drop or two of cooking oil (helps keep the noodles from sticking to each other)

put in your Pasta (spaghetti, macaroni, whatever)

cook for about 10 minutes, stiring occasionally (if your not sure whether its done, use the 'ol taste test, to see if it is the right consistency) less will probably cook a little faster

strain out the water

add some Pasta Sauce, some butter, a bit of seasoning, some Parmesan cheese and your ready to go

whether it's just you, or your cooking for lots of people, just scale up how much you need

Mmm...gotta have the Parmesan cheese on it.

You know...I think I'll make this for my family. I think I posted this in the CoG forums but, my family takes turns making dinner and I've been looking for something quick and easy like this.

whatever kind of sauce you want is fine. i like Four Cheese, or something with Garlic in it.

Meatballs also go well with pasta, but im not so good at making em, so somebody else could come up with a good way to do em

as for seasonings, it just depends on what you like, Garlic, salt, pepper, etc.

Quick method:
1 can sliced black olives
1 small bag baby carrots, sliced(or you can get the carrots presliced as well)
1 jar favorite spaghetti sauce
1/2 lb pasta

Cook pasta according to directions, remove about 1 minute before done. Meanwhile, put the rest of the ingredients in a large sauce pan, and heat. Combine pasta with sauce, and simmer for about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat, and transfer to a serving bowl.

Revords way:
1 jar of Kalamata olives, pitted (they are greek black olives. Salty, but undeniably delicious[IMHO])
1 jar (or can) of marinara sauce (Trader Joes puts out a fabulous marinara sauce that uses plum tomatoes, and all natural ingredients.)
Any kind of cooked meat (this is a great way to use leftovers, from hamburgers, to turkey, chicken, or even ham)
1 bell pepper sliced
1 sweet onion diced
1/2 lb pasta

Follow the above directions, with one main difference: Slice the olives yourself :)
