Have you ever had beer can chicken? its good! 1 chicken 1 beer can(size varies with size of chicken) only use half of the beer in it open the beer and put it right side up in the bottom of the chicken place on grill until cooked then eat Yum!!!!

I love it.
I actually have kind of a story to go with this. Apparently, some people don't really grasp the idea that alcohol steams off when you cook it. When my family brought it to church potluck, no one touched it. So we ate it all.

My dad uses the same concept, but with a small change. He has a stand that has a wire cage that is just large enough to fit in the cavity of the chicken, and a beer can fits right inside. Anyhow, what he does is sometimes, he wont use beer, he concocts some kind of liquid with some liquid smoke, spices, and other stuff(depending on what you are using, you could use wine, beer, or anything that evaporates) and then bastes the chicken as its cooking on the grill with the liquid. He did that for us last summer when I was visiting home, and it was wonderful! Revord |
