i recently discovered that Pasta Sauce gets much better when you add in some extra's and cook it. i had had a few jars of sauce that were about 1/4-1/2 full, so i mixed them alll together, added some Italian Seasoning (a pre-made mix of Marjoram, Thyme, Rosemary, Savory, Sage, Oregeno, and Basil), Parmesan Cheese, Cheddar Cheese, Fried Garlic, a pinch of Black Pepper, and a lot of leftover Hamburger (taco style). i mixed it all together in my Wok (you can use a more conventional pot lol) and mixed it up on low heat until all the cheese's and stuff had mixed and melted together. it was probably 4 times better than just standard off the shelf pasta sauce. you can experiemnt with what seasonings and extras you like, remember to little is easier to fix that too much
