Well I been playingall 3 a bit, and.. Knights of Honour is teh boringness despite a certain randomisation at the beginning of games.. the ai sucks, every one of the 30 or so factions feels the same.. conquer the british isles in a coupleof hours as the highlands? ..crazy anyway.. IG..just..sucks..lol Battles, well, I don't see the point of them in this game, tbh.. there doesn't seem to be anything to the game, research, construction, diplomacy, resource management..all so limited as to be kinda pointless. imo. and Dominions 2 well, it's awesome.. a gazillion hours of very "customisable" fun ![]() I haven't survived a single campaign yet.. ai keeps crushingme ![]() 17 (?) factions, all very different, extended research, hero management. Battles are interesting in that you assign general orders before the battle, and can intervene not at all once it starts... gd i reckon. Factions are everything from mystic east to valkyries to amazons to the legions of rome to nagash's undead hordes lol, to Illithids umm.. well lots of stuff anyways loada fun, i reckon KoH could be fun too if you're into repetition

Dominion2 Gamespot only gave Dominion2 a 6.2 out of 10. But the community gave it a score of 8.1. I haven't read the review, but the summary says that it's "saddled with tons of micromanagement issues and a cumbersome interface". Perhaps a lot of the micromanagement is engaging, though, rather then slow and boring. And perhaps the interface just needs to be learned, or has been improved in patches. It looks like MTW/VI, but with a lot more management options and the focus on management rather than battlefield strategy. Though single player TW games are mostly about management rather than battlefield strategy also. This is just what I can tell from the screen shots. It's nice to hear that it's actually a difficult game... Now I was going to tell you about one of my favorite games of all time, but as I looked up, I found some more interesting stuff. The game I was gonna show was Europa Universalis II, which was released late in 2001. But then I saw the that the same game is coming out for the Nintendo DS in 2006! Now if only I had a DS... Then I saw there they had made another game or expansion of the game called crowns of the north, released in 2003. Then I made an awesome discovery... They are selling a 6 pack of these 2 games, plus 4 other great strategy games, and the cost only 20 bucks! One of the games is EU2: Asia, which I read puts more of the focus on the Asian struggle going on in the time period of the game, rather than on Europe as in EU2 original. Hearts of iron was another game I've never purchased, but always thought looked cool and that is included too. Now, these games don't have any battles like TW, where you actually control units or anything. But I know from EU2 that this is not what these games are about. EU2 is about Diplomacy, religion, economic power, military strength, technology, historical events and more... You will never take over the world. In fact, amount of land doesn't mean much. The game is not turn-based, it is real time. If you don't keep planning and accessing your situation, you'll be sorry later in the game. Man, this game is great. Anyway, here's the link to the six pack they are selling: Strategy Six-pack Click on the fact sheet near the lower/mid portion of the page to see brief descriptions of the games included. I'm gonna buy this for my older brother's birthday, and I think I'll get it for myself too. Hey, it's only 20 buck!
