AA? is that Call of Duty, Allied Assault? If so, I've play the original CoD Multiplayer... It's just like any other crappy WW2 mutiplayer, like Medal of Honor. No tactics except know the map and where to expect people, and taking the same path each time depending on what team you are on, and have a quick trigger finger and good aim. BF2 is much better. Especially Special Forces! |

AA is America's Army. this is nowhere near AA in terms of tactics.. it is on another plateau. |

Another "plateau"? If you use franco-english words anyway, why not go more french, and say "niveau", which is more appropriate, i.e. more posh I suppose because you must mean it's on another flat piece of terrain high above sea level? Then, which "plateau" is further up from the sea level, AA, or BF2? How big is the difference?

We play both BF2 Vanilla and Special forces which is the expansion. Also some of us have the euro forces and armourd fury booster packs as well. |

There is also total war expansion. To install it you first uninstall bf2, than install rtw. |

lol Step 2: Then get frustrated at how arcade-like and unbalanced the game is, unlike MTW. Step 3: Then unstall RTW, reinstall BF2 and wait for MTW2 to come out. I love BF2:SF. The vanilla BF2 was fun for a while, and still isn't too shabby. And it's pretty engrossing, especially when you first play the game. But compared to SF, SF is much more tactical. In Vanilla, it feels like you rush from flag to flag, and you don't necessarily need to work with a squad. In SF, you assault your way from flag to flag, and working in a squad is much more satisfying. Just my opinion. |

Games are always more expensive here than there, probably because we earn so much more I've got the game along with SF expansion, will try it some time, not too bothered about it ATM though  |

Grr....just readin through the other games section and I found this piece of blasphemy right here! AA is very tactical, has an ownage interface, very good graphics, and though all of this is not unbelievably uncommon, It is in a FREE game!!!! |

AA has been weighed in the balances and found wanting However, just like Silkroad, it comes with a very good return on investment  |

lol suck or not, we have to admit that AA is probably the MOST realistic game out there, in terms of gameplay and graphics. Probably thats because it was made by the US Army but in all cases that touch of realism is always nice. One man teams are impossible in the game, its a lot more team oriented, and really nobody ever kills more than 3 people a round (if your lucky or if you found a good camping spot that noone guesses to check then yes maybe more), but overall thats just the way the game is, you get shot once in the right place and maybe if the initial shot doesnt kill you, you will still die of bleeding unless a medic bandages you up. Its not like counter strike where you can pop outta the wall and headshot 5 dudes while theyre all tryin to shoot you, and the main reason for its slowness you could say in reacting is the fact that the recoil is so much more definite. In CS and many other FPS's crouching or crawling was always a choice and made your weapon a tad bit accurate, but the change was too slight to exchange for the mobility loss, in AA however ducking and crawling is almost a must for anything past 10 feet of point blank. Only down I would say in the game is that theres an actual penalty for TK'ing that matters because it goes on your record and lowers your honor rating....so Din this might not be for you
