Ok it turns out this game totally pwns so Ill have to remove that part of the sig... I thought it had a lot more depth to it than WoW, you can interact with other players in so many more ways, and when you walk into a city you get the feel of an actualy Medieval city of the time, players with trade stalls set up advertisin their goods, bells ringin, horses clattering everywhere... The talent tree and classes is much like WoW (or any MMO for that matter), with the best damage dealers being the most susceptible to damage, its nice, balanced, and a great MMO experience. The only down I've seen so far is that the movement is a bit weird if your used to WASD keys but the more you get through the game the more you notice that its neccesary. And on top of it all... IT..IS...FREEEEEEEEE! Me and Goalie play on server Alexander if anyone is interested... Hope to cya there! Edit: Oh duh, heres the site http://www.silkroadonline.net/sro_board/fm...SB_Inform&sID=1 |

rofl! well, you'll have no such luck anytime soon! Gah Goalie! We're not getting any support for the game here! We must flee to the WoW forums where they would welcome this with open arms!! For now we are just leveling, tryin to get to level 10 for the mount!! yay When you get higher though from what I understand the main goal is to make money, and what separates the players is the three different ways to go about it, being a Merchant, a Hunter (kill things for money) or a thief. I dont know all the facts for this but never fear! I'll post as soon as I learn! because I know you guys would go crazy without your local update on the Silkroad Online

Yay! Ok, for now, when you start, walk into Constantinople, you will find a Guide (i forget his name) talk to him, he'll start you off on ALL the quests, go around doing what they say and it'll familiarize you with everything. im comin on now, lets tear it up!

rofl unbelievable I was supposed to be the one on the magnificent steed guiding the two noobs din and bazz to their quest locations because they cannot figure it out on their own... Dream Version ^ Reality Bazz and Din are 5 levels ahead of me already, Bazz has to walk slowly so that his mount can keep pace with me instead of dissappearing ahead, I have huge 5 minute fights with something and Bazz or Din kill it in one shot making me look horrible and I ask Din questions about the game because he clearly knows more about it than I do. Tables have definitley turned after one day of the Deadly Duo playing Silkroad. |

Tried Cabal as well, it beats Silkroad's fighting and quest experience, though lacks something like the trade possibilities there and parties aren't important where I am (in fact they might hinder some classes IMO). Big bonus is that logging on any time is not a problem, the servers just have the capacity for all. No legions of bots probably. Pity that PotBS isn't free
