Its a new napoleonic game, it should be out untill christmas. Not so pretty graphics. But in turn over 50,000 animated figures representing up to 500,000 men. And a 30 x 22.5 km large battlefieds. Also it seems to suport multiplayer with up to 8 players.

As Merc said i wonder how it will compare to Empire. Any ideas folks?

I read the interview with the developer. It does sound very nice. No unit micromanaging, battles that can take days.. MP up to 8 players..

The only bad thing is there is no campaign mode :(

Yeah thats true, but when the battles can take days.. i wonder how that will work in mp.. What i liked was the way you could set the AI. Forexample if you you are outnumbered, you can set the AI regiment/battalion or whatever it is to make a orderly fall back. Or if you are facing a owerwhelming cav charge, you can set to automaticly form a square. Either that if you outnumber the enemy inf. To form a collumn and charge with the bayonet's. I also read somwhere that the first volley a unit fires causes 20% more damage then after they has reloaded, so this will also be a major factor in the game. Im starting to look more forward to this game then Empire Total war. Due to the realism and the sheer size of battlefields and units. The huge battlefields means that it actualy is possible to set up ambushes, you have to do some recon the fields ahead, if you are on the march, entire battalions can sneak up around you if you dont pay enough atention. Fast movemement seems to be replaced with good strategy. Iv also read that chatting ingame will have delays, each message are dillivered by a courier. So good planningis required.

If the developers get everything as good as they say they will, it seems to be ultimate wargame.
