Well, if we take apart all the bugs, glitches, strange points and the low unit number disapointment... can't really say it was a bad game.

I know there are a couple of people who's aim is to blame CA those days, but to be honest, they brought a couple of interesting strategical points in ETW and NTW.
All the range things on the battlefield do have a a deep strategical depht, even if it ususally disapoints all people used to play without it. Some changes on world map management are interesting as well.

I'm a very fan of Rome & Shogun actually, but it would'nt be honest to me to say that NTW (more than ETW) is not an interesting game to play.

I guess you're not playing it, neither Napoleon... right ?

Alot of us did play ETW and the support for that game was awful. Even when all the bugs were identified the devs had really little to no attention dedicating any man power to them

(I removed most of the "quote" boxes to avoid chaining too much).

I completely agree with you on that point, for sure.
This broke the game and CA reputation somehow. But that's one of the reasons why they made Napoleon from what they say.

Although we can blame CA, they could have made a much worse game with ETW than what they did. Once again, apart from bug.

beh... let's have final word on this debate on SC2 when I'll rape your base in a respectful way :) :P :D
