No, but seriously.. Barca have no right to be called a competitive football team, they play exhibition football against teams that wouldn't even get in the championship 90% of the season. All this messi worship gets boring, any decent footwork oriented player placed in the barca xi would score bundles and every so often show a moment of class given the amount of possession he's granted by the rest of his team. granted barca would probably finish in the top 5 of the premier league if they played in it for a single season.. Griping aside, it shows how bad this years united squad is performing when Park is talked about as one of their best players. He's just got a 1000bpm heart rate. Oh, that was more griping. Well, I reckon man utd win 3-1 |

In all honeestly, barca is a good team, but on the other hand, they become very predictable. The football is orientated about possesion of the ball, and if you actually let them play football, you proably loose with the bronze, silver and gold best football players in the world in 1 team. Mourinho last year did it, he just made anti-football, and my guess is, that man-ut should try that aswell, and hope for a genius moment of rooney and hope the genius moments of messi will be stopped by van de sar. My guess is this will become a boring final, man un. will try to prevent barca from playing football the first hour, after 1 hour they get troubled by it because its to hard and tiring, and then barca will punish united. Of cource man un. got a chance if barca got a bad day, or man united really shows powers we havent seen of them before, but in normal situations, this barca is a bit lesser then the dream team of the past, but still the best football team today. |

In this type of game ferguson does tend to concentrate very heavily on the counter attack, as you said about mourinho's tactics. think that is what ferguson's comments about rooney being mature were about tbh, he also has a habit of talking indirectly to his own players in press conferences..sounds like he wants rooney not to get drawn too far forward, to encourage the old barca legs up the field. This season's man utd is unpredictable though, you can't count on anybody having a good 90 minutes. Pundits have been talking about park being set to "close down" messi, which imo is ridiculous, park's legs have a habit of flailing around when he gets excited. Wouldn't be surprised if Fletcher plays. Wonder how hernandez will hold up. |

i also think it will be a boring game. what would be exciting is if united score first. I never thought I would cheer for united... |

Only 5 of united's players turned up. Blackpool perform better than that. |

Lol, they wanted to play football, rediculous, was ment to happen, as said, atm moment they got the bronze, silver and gold best soccer players in the world in 1 team, and you got the arrogance to actually let them play. I understand it a bit, if you play anti-football and play on the counter youre biggest star is useless, but to assume rooney would be better then all the attackers of barca is just naive. Pretty interesting match though, secretly hoped for man, but well, barca is just better, only the dutch can stop the spanish next year at the euro cup. |

Bah, i'm no united fan, just get annoyed by hero worship of a team that doesn't do anything a million 11 year old boys can't do. |

let's talk premiership. bazz, you think martin kelly will start this season with skrtel and johnson questionable? also, I had no idea charlie adam was only 25. he's tough. i have no idea who will start for liverpool in midfield. i'm guessing kuyt for sure but not sure about anyone else. how about that community shield today? seriously, ###### utd.

Johnsons only got a mild calf strain so could be back for the sunderland game, although Flannagan may start if GJ needs a bit more time as i expct him to play LB until we sign a new one. I expect the team to be something like: ----------Pepe------------------ Kelly - Carra - Agger - Johnson ---------Lucas-Adam------------ Kuyt-------Aquilani------Downing -------------Carroll---------------- With the possible additions of Henderson or Suarez although he'll probably only come on as a sub after the Copa win. |

i thought AA is going to italy on a permanent move (fiorentina or acm iirc). do you really think Suarez won't be in the starting 11? also, you think Lucas would get the start over Meireles? hmm..interesting. on a side note, i just read that chelsea have agreed on a fee with anderlecht for Lukaku. he could be the future drogs being the big target man that he is although I doubt he will get many starts this season. |

I thought suarez was the best player out of a cup in america this summer, that man is a stupid guinius, way to arrogant, but what he can do with a ball is so beautifull, if he isnt in the base i would be suprised. Nice match yesterday btw, i had a small laugh when man un. scored in the last minute |

I wouldnt touch any liverpool defenders, have you not seen their pre season? Id be very surprised if they didnt go with suarez AND carroll up front together. Midfield expect to see downing kuyt gerrard and adam. I think liverpool players are currently overpriced considerably in the fantasy league. |

yes they are overpriced, but kelly seems like a fair price (5.5 iirc) especially if he starts. |

How do they do scoring in fantasy soccer? They give points to defenders for each tackle, pass, etc., for example? |
