Hello all, I have recently bought Simplify3D and find it to be excellent as far as printing quality. I have a Prusa i3 Mk2 printer and was using Slic3r before printing via USB. I never had a single thermal runaway problem. Now with Simplify3D I have a thermal runaway problem where the temperature (from a set point of 215/55, the extruder temp start decreasing and when it reaches 199, the printer resets both the extruder and bed temp to 0, while continuing to print. Again, I never had this problem with Slic3r.I understand many will say the USB printing is not worth the risk - for comms problems - but I am wondering why does this happen anyway. Why is the temperature decreasing? And why Simplify3D will not keep it under control. Please help. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
