My cross stitch

I'm very slow, takes me forever to complete them, but I've been making cross stitch stockings for my family for the past 10 years.

This is the one I finished in 2011 for my youngest. It was a stamped cross stitch...I much prefer counted

And the other two I've finished. I did the one for my ex first, silly me, then I did mine. I'm currently working on my older daughter's, but I doubt it'll be finished by this Christmas, but definitely by next Christmas! The felt Santa stocking for my older daughter was made by my aunt, but since she had a handmade stocking I've been saving hers for last.

So, I'm working on my latest cross stitch today (although sadly my eyes are conspiring against me. The cloth for this one has particularly small holes and I'm getting a headache. I'm going to have to admit defeat and buy a magnifying glass that goes around my neck if I'm to ever finish this). Here is what I have done so far

And here is what the finished product should look like (only the name will be different, lol)

I love watching the image take shape, like putting a puzzle together.
