DOES SOMETHING

Serious About Your Skills

About the Site
Writing is more than an expression. It's an art. The members of SAYS are here to share their ability to write and to learn some new tips on writing. No matter how great one is at expressing themselves through words, there will always be a way to get better.

That is why SAYS is here. All of the little quirks that show up occasionally in your stories, or that blasted writer's block that just won't go away. We want to help! Everyone here is capable of helping in some way or another. Please, browse around, ask questions, get into intense writing discussions and debates.

Writers are unique individuals, but together, we are a power beyond words.

We'll all have a chance to delve farther into our skills and abilities than we knew possible. Hopefully we'll not only become aware of those abilities, but put them to the test by breaking the surface and writing something out of our realm. In doing so challenging our mind, searching for the glimmer that reflects not only who you are, but the daily feelings and emotions that possibly and quite probably run through the minds of the characters we attempt to portray.

But wait, there's more! This site isn't just about the nitty gritty. We have a "Off Topic" forum where you can relax and get to know each other. As a matter of fact, we're more about getting to know each other than anything else. If you're usually one for angst, why not have a chat with one of the humour writers?

About the Staff
The staff of SAYS are all trustworthy individuals. If you see anything questionable, or anything that makes you uncomfortable in any way, we urge you to contact one of us immediately. We're here nearly around the clock and our number one priority is to help out. That's the main reason we created this site, and we wish to keep as clean an atmosphere as we possibly can.

Jessi_Rose (Jessi) created this site in the hopes of sparking something truly magical. This is her second message board she is a part of in which she holds a leading position. She's the friendliest person you could ask for and loves getting to know people better. So, why not contribute by helping to widen the horizons of Jessi's hope of an all purpose writer's resource? She just wants to help push your writing up a notch and keep everyone happy.

Infairi (Chelsea) joined this site to help Jessi on her mission to literate the world. She understands the meaning of improve, even though she pretends it isn't in her vocabulary. She can see the same vision as Jessi; improve the writing of aspiring authors (and learn a thing or two along the way), create sublime bonds between them, and all in all just have a wonderful site.

Dobby101 (Tamara) joined in the fun with Jessi, preparing to bring this site to new levels. She's been a part of many message boards in the past and knows the horrors of watching one sink ... That's why she joined this one! Because sinking is not an option. Another key ingredient in successful writing is self discipline, encouragement, and other things to keep you going. SAYS hopes to meet all of your writing needs.

Elf_ears13 (Marisa) joined the site after being forcibly signed up by Infairi. Her short term goal is to eliminate all clichés in fanfiction and her long term goal is to write (and have published) a bestselling book of some sort. It doesn't seem to matter what sort it is. She fears for the sanity of fanfiction authors, which led her to SAYS - just what she was looking for, a place to help writers out of the mind-numbing abyss that clichés can become!

Angel (Angie) joined SAYS ages ago under the name Scarhead, but rejoins us as an admin in 2013.

Privacy Policy
As said, we wish to maintain a clean site. The giving out of personal information is strictly prohibited under all circumstances. First names are acceptable, but the the line doesn't go much further than that. Occasionally the site will feature competitions in which there will be a prize for the winner. If the prize must be mailed, absolutely no personal information of the winner will be given out. We wish only your well being.

Please, please, please be wary of your or your child's personal information on the net. It's a sad fact that there are creeps out there who have very opposite aspects than us. For further information on the matter visit SafeKids.com and SafeTeens.com.

Forums
Courtesy is our biggest strive. We wish that all members would be compatible with each other, and if any members are to feel uncomfortable in any situation we urge you to contact us immediately. As we try so hard to keep the site safe and of a PG rating, we ask that you contribute by abiding to the few rules.[/color]

  • No spam. That means no double posting or posting irrelevantly.
  • No swearing. That is not PG. And please, don't let your toe cross the line on this one.
  • PG. Please, please, please stay PG! In case you're unaware of the meaning, PG stands for Parental Guidance (suggested).
  • Netiquette. Please be as courteous as possible. We wish to encourage.
We don't mean to be intimidating, but we are prepared to take action if a member is to violate our rules. The three strike rule is full in force. Please read more here...
