Rules 1) Obey all forum rules! That includes things like: No godmodding, pornography, consistent abusive language, and the like. A link for the rules is below. Forum Rules 2) When fighting, make sure that you give fair chances to NPCs in battle, as well as players. Don't do one-post or two-post kills (unless it is necessary), and have the battle at least half-way drawn out, like in Frayed Ends of Sanity. 3) If we give you a post, act upon what has been given to you, and help further the story so we don't have to post the events all the time! Just make sure you keep them moderately consistent and realistic with the storyline, and it will be just fine. And if you need to control someone else's speech, do so carefully and identically with the person's attitude (In other words, don't have the nice paladin cuss out everyone, please). 4) Stay active! We need you to keep your input on this RP at least twice a week, and if you must be away for a short while, tell us in a PM so we know ahead of time. 5) Don't introduce powers or skills you don't have! So if you character uses fireball and it isn't on his/her character sheet, you can't use it. Durr. 6) Don't make useless posts! If you give us a two sentence post explaining that you continue doing something, and that's it, we will ask that you redo it, or not post again at all until your character is applicable to do so. 7) Bosses are bosses. Get over it! If we hint that an enemy is overly unique or powerful in some way, don't make a post that would make it seem as if it were a normal enemy. They are tough, and you will need to utilize some tactics and maybe even a little teamwork to overcome your foe, so expect them to last a page or two on most occasions. 8) Enjoy the RP, damn it! If I need to explain this to you, I shall hit you over the head with my metal saucepan... |
