NAME: Maria Andra

AGE: 26

RACE: Human

GENDER: Female

OCCUPATION: Graffiti Artist

DESCRIPTION:
Maria has a very thin look to her face, but it isn’t gaunt. She has defined cheek-bones and a nice angular jaw line that connects to form a nicely blended chin. She has a fairly thin nose, without any kind of obvious tilt at the edge, though it does seem to tilt slightly upwards. Her lips blend in nicely with her nose and chin, being slightly thin on the upper lip and little bigger on the bottom lip. Her eyes are a beautiful violet color (she had them changed with dye injections) that is obvious from a distance. Her eyes are accented by her thin, arched eyebrows that retain the natural black color of her hair. She wears a thick, dark-purple eyeliner and heavy, black eye shadow on her lower lids. Her hair is a little past shoulder-length and she keeps it parted to the right and tied up in a knot in the back with the bangs hanging down in the front. Her hair has obviously been dyed with its coloring of dark purple, almost black, tips on her platinum-blonde hair. Her ears are also slightly visible when her hair isn’t in the way and she has one medium-sized black gauge in both earlobes, a single small gauge in both of her tragus, and an industrial piercing on the top of her right ear. Her industrial piercing is a thin black rod with a bend on the end at the top of her ear resembling a spike on a heart rate monitor. She isn’t lacking when it comes to her body either. With a figure that would make most men stop and stare, she was a sight to see. She was fairly skinny, weighing only around 130 or 135 and standing about five feet eight, making it all look perfectly proportional. She also had the type of figure most women only dreamed of, with a slightly larger-than-average bust and the ability to wear skinny jeans and look absolutely perfect in them. Her only tattoo is of a numeral clock with vines growing off of the frame and the face transparent and a small field and a purple-cloud-covered sky on the other side, with butterflies and crows coming out of it and the clock face. It is located on the right side of her neck, just above her collar bone.

EQUIPMENT:
The lower half of her face is usually covered by a half-face, neon-pink paint respirator with a thick black line around the edges and a cross over the center of the mask. The filters on both sides of the mask are solid black except for the neon-pink flecks of paint on them. The shirt she wears is self-made with a strange design on it. The shirt has a fairly shallow-cut, v-neck collar going down just below the top of the sternum and is a good fit for her. The base color of the shirt is a dark purple-blue color that is lighter in some places and darker in others, without any rhyme or reason. The pattern on it is that of stripped and sparking wires that are wrapping themselves up the right sleeve and down the torso. It ends with a large light-blue, spark outline of a rose on the left side of her abdomen. If you look at the shirt close enough the light-blue sparks coming from the wires actually form a much larger design of a spray paint can with a wave of the light-blue sparks coming from the nozzle and covering part of the upper-left shoulder and the entire left sleeve. All of the blue sparks are outlined in white thread and the wires have a bright-yellow outline of thread. The jacket is pretty simple in its design when compared to the shirt. It has a base color of black, with portions covered in a dark-purple cloth. The dark-purple color is on the top half of the sleeves and in fairly thick stripes on the sides of her abdomen. On top of that, there are indigo stripes about an inch thick, and three inches apart, crossing the length of the jacket horizontally and going all the way around the back as well. The hood is mostly black aside from the indigo stripe around the part where it connects to the jacket and two dark-purple stripes forming a cross. She wears a pair of torn, stone-washed skinny jeans that fit her perfectly, not too long and not too short. For footwear, she wears a pair of black boots with neon-pink and yellow sparks painted on them.

To carry around any equipment, she has a black, paint stained and duck tape covered, single-strap backpack that she always keeps on her. Inside of it she carries her spray paint canisters (numbering around 25 or so full cans), a half-empty carton of Black clove cigarettes, two full Zippo lighters, and a small box of matches. In A separate, inner pouch, she carries three full bottles of vodka wrapped in a covering to prevent breaking during transportation.

ABILITIES/SKILLS:
Climber- Rachelle is extremely adept at climbing almost any kind of surface. As long as it isn’t a nearly perfectly smooth surface, she can climb up it. This is particularly helpful in the city and forest-like areas, allowing her to gain elevation and height-cover over her enemies.
Pyrotechnic Ingenuity - Maria is very resourceful with most common, everyday explosive materials. She knows enough about these materials to be able to fashion makeshift weapons and traps from them that are strong enough to keep her alive.
Distribution of Senses – Unlike most normal people, Maria’s sense are distributed unevenly across the spectrum, with some stronger than normal, and some weaker than normal. Her weakened senses are that of her hearing, her sense of smell, and her sense of taste are all below normal. Her sight and sense of touch, however, are higher than average and she uses these enhancements to make her climbing ability easier than it normally would be.

MUTATIONS: N/A

BIOGRAPHY:
Maria Andra wasn’t always named that. Her parents had originally named her Rachelle Wolfe, but she had always hated that name, just as she had always hated her parents. As soon as she had been old enough to exercise some independence from her parents, she did so with all her abilities at such an age. She would break important items that she could reach within the house, hide from her parents for days on end, and the worst by her parent’s definition was when she would hide for days on end, but at the same time come out when they were asleep or away and trash as much of the house as she could before they came back or woke up.

As she grew older, her behavior grew even worse. As her acts of violence against her parents escalated, they came up with a way to be rid of her forever. The night that they left forever was a night during one of Maria’s bouts of hiding and coming back in the shadows to trash the house. They had left for the movies, and as they pulled away, Maria came back in and saw a folded note on the table basically saying that they were never coming back and that the house would be transferred to her name and it would be her responsibility to take care of it.

Maria was overjoyed at this, she had been hoping for this for a while, and now it was hers. She told the bank that the house was abandoned and she had the windows boarded up and everything locked down. From there, she created a secret entrance from which she could come and go as she pleased without interference from anybody.

This all happened around the time she was fifteen, which also marked the start of her graffiti art ‘career.’ She had innumerable run ins with the law throughout out the rest of her years before the infection breakout. During this time, she learned how to best climb buildings and most other surfaces with the city and in the forest and she also learned how to combine her alcohol and paints with a simple light to make different types of explosions and fires. She also gained a slight affinity for drinking and smoking, though in moderation because she couldn’t afford much of either item.

When the zombie outbreak occurred, she gathered what she had at her house and spent her days avoiding the zombies and finding places to keep her supplies up until now.
