I was bored and figured out that I had a philosophy on friends. I thought I'd share my philosophies once more :)

Over the years I've had "friends" but not that many close ones. I consider the people that I talk to sometimes not friends but rather people I know. You should know a friend well enough to know when they are silently hurting. You may not think I know anything about friends but let me say this ... All of my friends I would take a bullet for ... can you think of one friend that you might think about putting your life on the line for. Me I can name 5 right of the bat. I've had disagreements with my friend before and then we stopped talking for a while ... but that never changed the fact that I'd still take a bullet for them.

Here is what I am getting at. There are people who know over 400 people and think they are friends with. Now I don't know about you but I'd say that would take a lot of time to really get to know all those people. I'd say they are just acquaintances. The point is if your not willing to take a bullet for someone ... your not really friends with them in my book. Get to know people. Get to know your self in the process. Better yet ... get to know a friend.

I used to think I had a lot of friends. Then my "friends" and I got into drama. Turns out they really weren't friends after all. I can count the number of actual friends I have on one hand.

If someone is willing to turn on you just because of some stupid bullshit (because most drama is exactly that), then they are not your friend. If they turn on you because they get wrapped up in the drama and then they realize that they were wrong and forgive you and actually forgive you instead of just saying it, then I believe that if the person is not already a friend, they can easily become a friend.

High school teaches you a lot. I wish it could've been a lot less painless, but I guess that's how it is when you let people in so close that they could easily burn you.

I find that friends are mere idiots. Whether or not they're close. If they are close, they care, if they aren't, they don't. I like AI as my friends, anything really besides the predictable mankind. I'm not saying I'm superior, I'm just saying that they come and go, you make some you lose alot. Like me, I have a horrible history of keeping friends. Except one of my childhood friends, and the other one who died in a car accident one night. The closest friend I have would be the one I'm in a current relationship with. She's enough to me, and counts, in my opinion, as one-hundred 'friends'. 'Friends' keep to you as you do them. You mistreat them, they mistreat you. It's a simple game of who is who's pet. You are either in a group, or a loner (Cue to Loner). The 'groups' as I said have entitled ranks and popularity listings, up until College.

What I'm saying is, friends are idiots, and close. They are the same as you as you are them. Friends are like dogs, they reflect their owners/friends. If you have a bad reflection, I'm sure that shines upon your friends attitude and likeliness of killing said relationship. If you mistreat them, as I'm sure I said, they will mistreat you. If you treat them meekly, they will mistreat you. If you treat with respect, honor, and everything imaginable as respect. They will return the favor and stay loyal to you. A simple conversation could kill the relationship, one profanity can kill the relationship.

tl;dr: Friends are pets, as you are a pet. They reflect you and you reflect them. Double Mirror. You both have to treat each other with neutral feelings, or it's imblanced. There are good friends and there are bad friends. There are neutral friends, and there are the underated friends.
