hmmm shit tough poll...
60s=not heavy enough
70s=Good. Ozzy, Sex Pistols, no wannabe punk rockers...
80s= Great heavy metal...rap is shit
90s=Great rock bands... but metal declined here but got a little heavier...Rap still shit
2000's= GOD DAMMIT GO KILL YOURSELFS EMOS ALREADY NOBODY LIKES U
Heavy metal and rap are awesome...too many wannabe punkrockers tho

2000+

The best bands have come out in the last couple of years like Breaking Benjamin, Crossfade, Three Days Grace, Flyleaf, Switchfoot (their major record label album came out in 2004, so I consider them 2000+), and Fall Out Boy (yeah I like them. What the hell is anyone going to do about it)

Hendrix released his first album in 1967'ish if i remember correctly and died in 1970...what that man did in 3 years in unbelievable, he was an absolute genius.

Anyway for me the 70's is the best decade for music, Led Zeppelin were awesome and the whole punk thing. 1977, the music that came from that year...the sex pistols, the stranglers, the jam, the only ones...all fantastic. That's not even mentioning the likes of aerosmith, John Lennon, Van Halen, stevie wonder, Pink Floyd, thin lizzy, The Ramones, Queen, The Clash, AC/DC, Elton John, Kiss...jesus the list goes on and on. Surely no other decade could compare.

No disrespect Green Devil but the bands like breaking benjamin (even though i like them) just can't match up to the likes of Zeppelin.

^ None taken. Music is a perception thing. While I might like one band, someone else might hate them and like something completely different.

The 70's was a ground-breaking decade for music; filled with a lot of talented artists and bands, but I really don't like classic-rock. I think that 2000+ just suits my personal musical tastes

& when I first met you
I never would have imagined that
I would have such strong feelings for you
I never would have thought that
I would have dreams about you
or miss being by your side
or get butterflies in my stomach
When someone mentions your name
When I first met you
I never would have thought that I would love you
