Not many people seem to want an election right now. Especially here in BC, where the Provincial election is about to take place.

I think it would be best to wait until the Inquiry is over, and all the facts are known. If an election was called today, not much would change. There'd still be a minority govt. with either the Conservatives winning, or even the Liberals with an even smaller lead then they have now. By the end of the year, who knows what'll happen. Public opinion could dramatically shift. If Stephen Harper chooses to rush everything and force an election soon before the inquiry is over, he may loose credibility and would end up looking like an idiot, especially if the Libs end up winning a minority again. I think it's best for everyone to just wait it out and see what turns up. If more damaging testimony continues to come up and Martin is forced to make more pathetic news conferences like he did last night, the conservatives will be in excellent position to win a majority govt.

**Just for the record, I'm a Liberal supporter most of the time. I'm just not a big fan of Paul Martin though. I don't mind the conservatives, but I can't stand Stephen Harper. I really wouldn't want him as a PM. I would never, ever vote for the NDP. Lol, don't even get me started on why. So I guess if an election was called, I'd either still vote Liberal, or I'd vote Green. I'd vote conservative for sure if Peter Mckay, Belinda Stronach, or someone other Stephen Harper was the leader.

The latest polls show it's pretty close between the Libs and Conservatives.

This site is awesome. It shows all the most recent polls and is updated pretty often.

Wait for the gomery report, is what i say, and going liberals always, I dont ca5e what they have done, but remeber Mulroney, the fucken piece of shit spent billions, Canada was so far in dept it was pathetic and what happened? no inquiry no nothing, and you guys are complaining over 100 or so mil dollars, in addition Harper is a Fucking dictator, and how can you agree to private health care which may i point out is what harper's gov't wants, 90% of people voting for concervatives cant afford fucken provate healthcare, imagin this, paying 4000 for a broken arm, or 780 for a few stiches.

Liberals are the way to go, at least better then concervatives but what can you expect from fucking alberta, their but stupid farmers
