Just got back. I think Narnia is stealing a lot of Kong's thunder. A lot of people (myself included) decided on Narnia instead of Kong. Narnia was an amazing movie, I just hope they pull a LOTR and come out with an extended, possibly PG-13 version. It seemed chopped in a couple places, such as when Aslan tells Peter to clean his sword, then the camera cuts to Peter being knighted. Oh ell, the movie is still amazing, not trying to complain. I willl certainly see it again possibly instead of Kong. Time for bed, more tomorrow. BTW, I'm 18, and I went with a 22 year old friend, and neither of us thought it was too childish or anything stupid like that. It really shouldget some Oscar buzz, though it won't. They save the Oscars for critical darlings, not necessarily good movies

Am I missing something? Why is this movie getting so much praise. Look, I know I'm supposed to use my imagination and all, but even still, I can't imagine a 5-year-old enjoying this movie. It's just so stupid. Acting was terrible, script was bad, but even aside from that, the whole movie just seemed like a bunch of cut-scenes that produces a 2-hour trailer. There was no explanation about anything (yes, I know you're supposed to infer from the books), but even still, I found myself laughing at every scene because of how terrible it was.

"Hi, I am a little boy, I suppose I'm supposed to show you my sword that Santa Clause gave me and ask to speak to the King."

*lion comes out*

I mean seriously, these kids played into everything. Even the fairiest of tales shows kids denying SOME things that they encounter.

"oooo Mista Thomas. I like the fact that you invited me to your house. oooo I shall follow you because you have half a man's body! oooo yes I sure would like some of your tea and crimpents."

Ugh, I can't tell you how much I disliked that movie. I actually think it was the worst movie I've seen since Napolean Dynomite.

Fly away...

The movie was extraordinary. I've read the books, I love the books, and I'm glad they're making a movie. It was the best rendition of a book ever. Besides the little part they added in the beginning to explain why they needed to go to the countryside for a while, there wasn't anything different from the books.

Obviously, dialogue was cut, but the significant events were all there. I was thoroughly impressed.

I don't care that you don't like it, but keep in mind that Narnia is aimed more at families and younger children. You can't have intense dialogue and action and expect to attract that sort of group. And I'll agree with you that Napoleon Dynomite was pretty pathetic... :P

Why even talk? Seriously. It's one of the few decent Christian movies out, but it's too religious, I guess. There are plenty of non-religious movies out there for you, please don't complain about this one.

Babies sleep for 16-19 hours a day. They sleep in their cribs; car seats; and even in your arms. But if you drop a baby, it'll stop sleeping.
