The Man & Woman of the Year ought to be the International Relief Worker, considering the natural disasters that have had to be responded to lately.

But, nooooooooooo..... TIME Magazine could not be so perspicaciously plebeian as that. In fact, what real sense does one expect from Time Warner - AOL hirelings these days, anyway?

^ Not only so many disasters, but the danger of being murdered by organized terrorists, too. I second that nomination. Meanwhile Bono and the Gates's can dance a merry jig 'round the neon gloom.
