Is it possible to kill someone out of self-defense and get away totally "clean?" Like, no records, no jail time, and all that? I mean, it was in self-defense right? |

No, you can't. Here's how it can go: Guy tries to knife you. You catch his hand before he guts ya. Kick him a few times. Hold the knife in his hand and beat the living daylights out of him. But as soon as he's knocked out, you have to stop, otherwise you're hitting a disabled person and he can sue you. As long as the knife is in his hand, it's still a potential threat, for which you can hit him until he drops. Even if he's on the ground, you can keep punching him until he's KO'd. You cannot take the knife and use it on him. Because then you will be the aggressor, but if it's still in his hand, you can make him stab himself and he can't do anything about it, because it's his fault for not controlling the knife. There's some ways to avoid the law if weapons are involved. Otherwise, as far as you can go is knocking them out. |
![]() Babies sleep for 16-19 hours a day. They sleep in their cribs; car seats; and even in your arms. But if you drop a baby, it'll stop sleeping. | |
