I hear this often: "There's no evidence for God/Christianity." A statement like this can either mean two things: 1) There has been no evidence offered for the truth of God's existence and Christianity OR 2) All evidence that has been put forth has failed. Since 1 is obviously false, I assume that most people who make this claim nowadays mean 2. If you think that all the evidence that has been presented fails, then that must mean you must be familiar with the evidence presented to come to the conclusion that it fails. So, people who claim that there is no good evidence for God or Christianity must be familiar with the alleged evidence for it to come to the conclusion that there isn't any good evidence. Now, it would be irrational and absurd to say that every non-Christian needed to read every pro-Christian book in existence to keep his worldview, just like it would be irrational and absurd to think every Christian needs to read every anti-Christian book to keep his worldview. So, people who think that there is no evidence for God/Christianity, I implore you to tell me why you thought any ONE of the following was not up to par Two Dozen (or so) Theistic Proofs by Alvin Plantinga Scaling the Secular City: a Defense of Christianity by J.P.
