1-) The coach Sven Goran Eriksson is the worst coach of the world. For the last two matches, he insisted on playing Rooney alone upfront, and he couldnt see that it doesnt work. I mean, is he blind or what? Nothing is happening for England with that formation. EVERYONE knows that, EXCEPT him. Also, what does he have against Lennon? A young, eager, commited player that was always left on the bench? Why couldnt he have started with him? Did anyone not see Lennon tore Portugal's defence to pieces within minutes of coming on? 2-) Lampard. He was a joke. He didnt play well in a single game. Did he even go to Germany? I did notice him --- of course I did, with the commentators keep going on about how he's had the most shots at goal and scored 0 goals.... 3-) Walcott. What happened to taking a gamble, Sven? Too afraid to use him? Wish you had Darren Bent now? Maybe Beattie, who can actually win headers? Heck, even AJ? Even vets like Andrew Cole? Sheringham? Dammit, even Harewood/Ashton would've made a better target man. 4-) Jamie Carragher. Another WTF Sven? Did you bring him on to take a penalty? Well, brilliant job he did. Heck!Brilliant job they all did. And you actually say you practice penalties? And we could have used that substitution earlier. |

Zidane played really well today. Kaka was non-existant on the field. Actually the entire midfield for Brazil was shutdown from France. Ribery was solid and no one covered Henry on his goal. I don't think C.Ronaldo will be in Man U any more.. him and roony= enemies |

I did notice him --- of course I did, with the commentators keep going on about how he's had the most shots at goal and scored 0 goals.... I agree, he was a disappointment. He had some good shots but none of them went in. I think he'll be taking some blame for the QF exit. Carragher was a wierd choice. I have no idea why he'd take a PK, he's a defensive midfielder. And I think Beattie over Walcott would be a smart choice. I think England just wanted a young guy to be on the squad so they can be in the record books. and Poor Beckham, with his injury. It seems like every portugal game ends up controversial lol |

Biggest upset ever? Not likely. France beat Brazil 3-0 before in 98 |
