The lockout made sense. Reduce the salary cap, players take cuts and teams get more even. Now........ they increased the salary cap, players are getting paid more and some teams can't sign some players. Doesn't the NHL realize that they're going back to the same problem all over again? Increasing the salary cap is a stupid idea. |

If they keep the salary cap at what it is then i'm ok with that. If they continue to increase it then it'll be back where they originally started and small market teams will suffer while bigger market teams will prosper. |

It's not really about the money but it's about the players and how much they get paid. |

Not all teams can be equal and that's good. Let the bigger market teams thrive on the better players while smaller market teams can look for young talent and build from there. I think it's a great balance. |
