Dante isn't exactly the "goody-goody" kind of hero. He'd probably use every cheap trick he could to finish everything off as fast as possible, and look damn good doing it. |

Would he help out the poor Gorons or Zora? I don't think so. |

So technically he only saved Zelda because he wanted to as well. It's not like he really had to save her, but he did because that would've been a crappy game. If you think about he had no idea what was going to become of him as soon as Zelda and Ganondorf got involved. I mean I can Dante just going in and killing the enemies, taking the three gems, storming into the Temple of Time, getting the sword...and then he's done. Remember the only reason Link had to wait 7 years because he wasn't old enough to be a hero. Dante on the other is already old enough to be a hero and therefore Ganondorf wouldn't be able to sneak in and take the triforce. Even if he did, Dante would just blow him away and Ganondorf, being not as powerful if he had all three pieces, would get owned. Actually, it'd be a real interesting game if a character like Dante was doing it. |

Considering that Link needed the items from Zora's and Gorons to hepl him beat Ganon.... Dante would not require it at all. Instead, all Dante would have to do is to march straight to Ganon in Hyrule and kick his ass. |

but then the King who thinks ganon is a friend of Hyrule at the time would have Dante under arrest but Dante would then be forced to kill them all therefore giving Link a different adventure |

Let's just hypothetically put Dante in Link's situation. His goal is to save Hyrule and willingly Dante agrees. The only thing is that is it worth his time to really save the Deku's, Zora's and Gorons? I would say no. See, link needed to save them to rid the land of evil. He wasn't physically powerful to kill Ganondorf. Dante on the other hand has enough skill to take out Ganon by just staring at him. So even if Dante agrees to save Hyrule, he can just skip the steps until he reaches The temple of time. I believe the only way to kill Ganon is using the mastersword... doesn't matter how strong Ganon is, looks like Dante's insane gun skills and sword skills won't shed blood on ganon. That being said, It looks like Dante needs to acquire the master sword. If you don't follow that logic then ya sure, Dante can just freeze time, teleport to Hyrule Castle when Ganon meets up with Zelda and kill him on the spot |
