roughy the only one to miss a week. His reprimand for the trip (which is the right punishment) becomes a week because of his bad record. It wasn't malicious and was just a reaction but contact was made so it had to be a reprimand. Stevie J's intentional kick to the head gets of under the star rule 'below the force required to be a reportable offence'. Fyfe didn't have a reasonable alternative so he gets off... that whoever was the same case earlier in the year but didn't help him Clarke vs tom Lynch was also one where Clarke had no reasonable alternative http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-08-11/mrp-full-statement-round-20 |

Hawks can challenge and not risk a bigger penalty except for the level of carry over points Roughy will take in to the finals 68 if he goes off, down to 8 if he takes the week suspension (I think) |

Saw on footy classified they missed one last night. A Carrozzo off the ball hit on Riscitelli that got no press but resulted in Risca being subbed. Gold Coast aren't happy it was missed but aren't putting in a complaint like on of the Adelaide teams did last year (or it may have happened to one of the adelaide teams). The MRP again shows they only see the incidents everyone tells them to see |

There wasn't, it was one no-one saw apparently but Risca followed Carrots down the field and had a chat and then had another go when both were off the ground. It was a shoulder to shoulder hit when Risca wasn't suspecting but done a bit of damage to his hip and will probably miss this week too |

So there was a bit of bumping off the ball...no punches, no elbows, no kicks, no head contact....and people think the MRP missed something?

There was Carrazzo who left his man, went 5m out of his way to block Riscitelli who as a result left the game and will miss this week. It was minor contact so I don't think it should of been suspendable even it it had a big effect, but it should of at least been one of those 'looked at and we're fine with it'. The issue is that they are meant to review every game and missed it completely (Note: I'm not sure I've spelt Carrot's or Risca's names right once so far) |

Stevie J will miss this week with a foot injury anyway, wonder if he got it when he kicked Sutcliffe (?) in the head |
