might as well get this started, pretty big game this week, arguably the biggest of the round

Sydney are unchanged

Hawthorn have dropped John Simpkin the unlucky John Ceglar and brought in Cyril Rioli and big boy McEvoy

Sydney should still be too strong and win by 20 points

the city is packed with Hawthorn, Sydney and Fremantle fans...i guess after last years fiasco plenty of Freo fans booked their flights early

Don't think Ceglar is unlucky at all. He's just not as good as McEvoy...sure, he might've done a good job, but his best is a 7/10, McEvoy's best is a 9/10.

i like cyril's take on getting named

goes on and on about how he feels bad taking the spot off someone, and how "joffy" is a great talent

then finishes with "at the end of the day we want to win" which simpkin must really appreciate lol

then why was Ceglar ahead of him in the prelim?

Ceglar was pumping out 6 and 7's out of 10 performances for a long time...and the "better the devil you know" scenario was going on, where they were just sticking with a known quantity, rather than changing it up. Then Ceglar pumps out a 1 out of 10 prelim, so it was an easy decision to make.
