Paulski's just dirty because the Blues had to change into white shorts 5 minutes before the bounce earlier this year

How come Freo wore white last year then? There was no clash, but apparently Freo had to wear white shorts....and they didn't want to wear purple top with white shorts so wore white everything....it's just inconsistent and weird. I don't really care, I'd just like to know why...
No, they didn't have to wear white shorts. They chose to. The AFL gave them an option, and they chose to wear a clash.

Research is your best friend Paulski.

The Fremantle Dockers will wear the club's white clash strip in Saturday's grand final against Hawthorn at the MCG after the AFL ruled that the Hawks would wear their home strip for the game.

"We are unable to wear purple shorts against Hawthorn, who the AFL has selected to the wear their home strip, which includes brown shorts," Fremantle CEO Steve Rosich said.

"As such, we are required to wear white shorts, which is in keeping with our white clash strip."

Epic fail Barney.....EPIC fail.

I'm talking about the shorts Barney, not the top. They chose to wear the white top because they didn't want to wear purple top and white shorts (which the AFL were forcing them to wear). Why did they have to wear white shorts last year, when neither team had to wear white shorts this year?

After quarter time the game was over, Hawthorn just come out far too hard at the start.

Sydney were a disgrace. Would be lucky to name a handful of players who did well for them.
