Richmond take the points pretty easily, but neither side's supporters will be all that happy with the overall performance. Pretty shyte game.
It is what footy is like for the first few weeks, sides are still trying to replicate on field what they have done on the track.

As for Delids, will be interesting to see what he gets, his only saving grace was his feet were on the ground, don't see him getting less than two though

and that is jones, if he could have a 6 month preseason before each quarter of footy he'd be good

good turnaround by the Tigers but a pretty uninspiring game overall

crowd of 83,483 which aint too shabby...although most of the Blues left early

and they didnt let us on the ground! which according to some people was promised

Working pretty well so far, but they're going to need to lower their eyes after Richmond adjust.
They didn't 😐

So is Mick going to claim a first ball freebie on the whole "can't see us losing a game" thing?

I've been reading that far too often lately. It's pretty lazy journalism/commentary IMO. He said that at a Carlton fans function when asked about the season. Imagine he said "oh, you know, we're probably going to lose more than we win". What would anyone do if their coach said "oh, we'll lose to Hawthorn, Port, Sydney, Freo....but hey, we might be St Kilda...."?

It's like when someone has a go at a coach or administrator for predicting they can win a flag in the preseason. Of course they think that, if you didn't you shouldn't be in the game.

Head of being F'n awesome
Just back in phone range, what happened from the second quarter onwards was what I expected going into the game. We aren't great but Carlton are genuinely average
