Half way through the 2nd quarter and the Dees have the jump on the Suns. They lead by 27 points.

Ablett playing and not doing much as probably expected. Jack Martin has hurt himself again too.

Anyway, onto the more surprising business, Jack whats is tearing it up. 10 touches, 5 marks, 4 inside 50's and a goal. Ably assisted by Howe, Dom, Viney and the old firm in Cross and Jones...

Matt Shaw will be missing weeks too after a clumsy front on spoil that left some Dee with a cut cheek

Think Roj may have casually just worked a second one out on that performance. GC will be a bigger scalp this year than previously and with the Dees passmark (according to Spence) being 9 wins, this will help them achieve that goal.

Starting to think Carlton hate their indigenous players, they go alright once they aren't wearing navy blue

25 points at half time. GC challeneged there for a bit, but the dees held firm and finished the quarter better....playing well

I thought G.C would score more in the last 5 mins of that quarter but the Dees countered well after that burst by the Coast.
Gaz is 75% at best on 1 occasion late there he should have raised both arms to mark the ball but only put up 1.

Good chance GC are going to fall over the line here. Dees might not know how to win yet. They deserve to though

It shits me to see Garlett apply himself. He hasn't tried for 2 years and now that he gets a wakeup call he decides he wants to crack in. Little cunt

I take it back. Just like they have a couple of times they've weathered the storm and hit back. 4 goals up with only time on left, they should be home.
