Wonder if after this thumping, North supporters will realise they're still a middle of the road team that has just been scraping together wins against teams that are going to finish below them on the ladder, most of them well outside the 8.

At least Hawthorn won something (the before they were due one in 08) before they really got cocky North have done nothing to suggest they are capable of beating a good team on the big stage. They've barely scraped over the line against teams like Melbourne and St K and even Essendon embarrassed them for a half of footy. They're an alright team...might even scrape together enough wins to make top 4, but they're not a serious contender.

North aren't bad, they're just a middle of the road lower 8 team, but a soft draw and some scrappy wins have made them seem better than they were going |
