Hasn't been many genuine blockbusters this year on Friday Night but this is one. Should be great fun seeing North try valiantly for a half against a good side

I just don't understand why the AFL doesn't change the draw past round 4 in regards to Friday night football. It is a fantastic model, home from work, few brews and steak in your belly and they put up Carlton V Essendon or some shit. Friday night football should be guaranteed top 8 sides, bottom 10 sides, like Collingwood should never be seen near a Friday night game

I'm with Spence. Although I'd take it a step further and say small teams like Bulldogs and North can get stuffed regardless of form

I understand the reasoning behind setting the whole fixture (bar the last round) from the start - but I don't necessarily agree with it.

And I don't think the Hawks are travelling well enough to call them a shoe in for this match

Problem with floating fixture is they are so concerned by 5/6 day breaks, especially for traveling teams, that they lock them in. But could just pick the best the non Sat night games. Still gives you 4 games to pick from

Hawthorn aren't very good without Hodge and Roughey throwing their weight around. Jordan Lewis isn't half the player now that he has been the last few years either.

#freekicknorf? Wtf 22-8. Not watching the game but is that warranted?
