This is a big opportunity lost for the Saints. They had their best win in 5 years last week, and needed to back it up to show they're getting better. Good run home too, they could have pushed for a finals spot if a current top 8 team faltered, but nope....choke.

They'll beat Essendon next week, should beat Melbourne the week after, Carlton in Rnd 20, Richmond in 22 and Brisbane in 23. That'll put them 11 and 11. Should've won today to make it 12-10 which would've put them a game out. If they could've won those and stolen another win (which they showed last weekend they're more than capable), could've easily won 13.

Not sure where they were going to make up the 40 percentage points they are behind though
