it's usually early october, not sure on dates last year i posted a poll, and left out griffen who ended up winning it this year i'm tipping murphy: boyd and griffen have had great years, but murphy has really flourished in defence and matured as a player more than anyone else in the team [and if BS reads this she might be impressed with me b/c she likes murphs ]

Boyd will surely win it, has an excellent year as his first as captain, I reckon your club voters will definately recongnise that. Dahlhaus best first year player. |

i thought similar last year agree on dahl, i think he played 11 games, which if i'm not wrong [which i probably am] strips him of rising star eligibility next year by 1 game... or is that another award i'm thinking of has a 10 senior game limit? |

Surely Liberatore had a better year than Dahlhaus. He was fantastic. He played 16 games and averaged over 18 possessions and 4 tackles a game. Edited by Paulski, 29 Sep 2011, 12:36 PM.

both had great debut years, two very different players and i think it will come down to tastes of voters in terms of talent and impact it's hard to separate the two, but dahl has more flare and has the big moments that draw attention, the crowd goes mental if he gets a run going with ball in hand |
