Name: Veronica Stanfield
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Hometown: Gresham, Oregon
Hobbies and Interests: Cross-country running, Jazz music, Judo, .

Appearance: Veronica stands at a short 5’4 and weighs a lean 125 lbs, and on first impression, doesn’t particularly look like much. Her dark, wavy black hair reaches down to her shoulders and her bangs cover most of her round face. A pair of dark framed reading glasses- she’s squeamish about wearing contacts- hide her small gray eyes, which, combined with her button nose and small smile give her something of a forgettable appearance, which isn’t helped by her choice of fashion.

Veronica dresses mainly in comfortable clothes, having never really had much of an interest in fashion- despite her friends’ persistance in getting her to take more care of herself. On the day that she was recruited for Arena, she wore a pair of loose fitting jeans, a dark flannel shirt over a navy blue shirt with a paint splat effect on it, and a pair of red low-top converse. She occasionally bandages her right wrist due to an injury she sustained a few years ago, but this is usually just to remind her that the injury is there, more than anything.

Biography: Veronica was born in late December 2012 to Liam and Maria Stanfield, a couple who ran their own business from home, in Gresham, Oregon. While the family could always make ends meet, the family lived a simple life, and Veronica never really found herself with many of the luxuries that most children her age grew up with. Despite this, she had a happy childhood, getting to see her parents more than most due to their work, which her parents felt made up for her lack of siblings.

The only real problem with this was that Veronica grew up used to talking to her parents and their friends, and as such found it much easier to relate to people older than her than she does to people her own age. For instance, Instead of listening to modern music, which her parents saw as uninspired and cliched, Veronica spent most of her childhood listening to her parents’ old jazz and blues music, eventually becoming interested enough to take up playing the saxaphone. This didn’t last long, however, as she eventually lost interest and gave it up.

This began a long string of hobbies that Veronica attempted, and failed, to get interested in; a short-lived interest in skateboarding gave her a wrist injury that still causes some pain for her to this day, and her attempt at taking up various martial arts for self-defence ended with her covered in numerous cuts and bruises. However, she eventually found a martial art that she enjoyed in the form of judo, where, though she wasn't the biggest, or the fastest, quick thinking meant that more often than not, Veronica could put up at least something of a fight against most opponents. She continues judo to this day, though restrictions have dissuaded her from competing in tournaments.

When high school came around, Veronica tried a number of sports, excelling at cross-country running. While not the fastest on the squad, Veronica’s good stamina led her to become a permanent fixture in state events. While she thought of persuing an athletic career, she eventually decided against it to focus on her studies, after being accepted into a local college, she decided against it, instead deciding to keep her sports, and her martial arts, a hobby.

Around school, Veronica is quiet, but has a few friends that she’s reasonably close to. She considers herself to be smart, and her grades were above-average, but Veronica isn’t happy with her results, as she thought she could do better. Nevertheless, the results were good enough to get her accepted into the college she wanted.

As long-time sports fans, Veronica and her family were always avid watchers of Arena, but Veronica never had any particular interests in competing at any point in her life, and made this very clear when she received a phone call asking her to participate. Despite this, she was rendered unconscious and made to participate anyway.

DESIGNATED PYLW (Yellow Player)

Designated Weapon: Scythe

Conclusions: Eh, I still don't understand why the team pulled this girl. She might do okay in a fight, I suppose, but she just seems so boringly average. Then again, who knows? This game does tend to bring out the best in people. I'll just have to wait and see.
