Albert Brady; Oh shit, it's Captain Brady!

MK Kilmarnock

Name: Albert Brady
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Hometown: Ashland, New Hampshire
Hobbies and Interests: Boxing, heavy metal music, metal culture (concerts, fashion, parties and the like), working out.

Appearance: Albert stands at 6'1" and weighs 247 pounds. His body can be best described as 'solidly built'; there is a lot of muscle to him, but all of his muscle is tucked underneath a layer of fat. Because of this, it isn't hard to mistake Albert for just another fat kid thanks to his lack of abs, pronounced pectoral muscles or defined abs until he demonstrates his strength.

Albert's face has a filled-out shape much like his body, with low cheek bones and a wide jaw that give him a definitively masculine look, despite his complete lack of facial hair. His straight black hair, while he would like to wear it long, is cut to a length of no longer than an inch and a half and tapers to something of a broad point over his forehead. His eyes are plainly brown, often shaded by his prominent eyebrows.

Al's favorite articles of clothing are his black fingerless gloves and his denim shorts, which are very baggy and and often extend past his knees. To keep them from falling down, he has a brown leather belt with a buckle in the shape of a timebomb, the logo for his favorite band, Kill Carnival. He has at least three pairs of shoes to cover his size 13 feet, but his favorites are a simple pair of black skater's sneakers. For the arena, however, he wears the tan work boots that he got for working at the sawmill (they add extra support for his ankles). His current shirt is an XXL-sized white t-shirt with a custom airbrushed design of himself in clown makeup, with the words 'Captain Brady' written underneath. The shirt is signed on the back by Wayne "Bozobitch" McLeod, the drummer for Kill Carnival.

His face is done up in clown makeup in the same fashion of members of Kill Carnival on one of two occasions: when he is attending a Kill Carnival concert, or when he is about to enter a fight in the Arena. The makeup is comprised of a thick white base that can take up to fifteen or thirty minutes by itself to apply, followed by black paint accentuations to his nose and eyebrows, and finishing up with a large red smile around his lips. At concerts, it's done in support of the band; concertgoers to Kiss and ICP performances have often been known to do the exact same thing. When Albert dons the makeup for Arena, however, it's just another layer of mental defense... as well as intimidation.

Biography: Albert Brady was born on January 19th, 2011 in Ashland, New Hampshire, the town where he has lived his entire life. His parents were both lower-class folks with equally blue-collar jobs: Miranda Brady worked as an assistant manager for a local gas station, and David Brady helped to run the lumberyard and sawmill. Both jobs were just a five minute walk from home, so Albert was always in the company of somebody when he came home from school.

For much of his youth, Albert followed a day-to-day routine: go to school, throw his weight around Ashland Elementary to make sure that nobody gave him trouble (he was always something of a big boy for his age), listen to whatever the cool kids were listening to on their headphones, then come home with a few new songs to listen to in his room. His parents would never let him listen to the kind of stuff that they deemed as 'trash' at this point in his life if they had ever known he was listening to it, but Al spent so much of his time in his room or hanging out with his friends that they were kept largely in the dark.

Just as Albert entered junior high, his parents' concern for him grew to the point where they sat him down in the living room and had a talk with him. Because Al always had access to the attention of his parents but never actually craved it, thus spending most of his time around town or in his room, David and Miranda felt like they were losing control and that there were better ways for Al to spend his life. To this end, David started having Albert come to the lumberyard after school. Since he was too young to legally work, David asked his boss to let Al move boards from place to place as 'character building', and Al was paid under the table in return for his troubles.

While this helped to strengthen the bond between Al and his father, it didn't help the gap that had opened between him and his mother, and it wasn't very much fun for him either. In hopes of fixing both problems, Miranda enrolled Albert in a program at the youth center in the nearby city of Meredith. During the week, Al would come home from school and go to the lumberyard, but on weekends starting at Friday after school and Saturday to Sunday afternoons, he would instead go to the youth center. The youth center was where he discovered two of his lasting loves: his favorite band Kill Carnival, and his favorite sport of boxing.

The boxing training at the youth center was nothing too hardcore. There was some sparring, yes, but that was one of the later steps of the program and generally occupied by pairs of high school students going up against one another. Albert had to start with the comparitively boring stuff such as weight lifting, speed bags, heavy bags, and so on. he stuck with the program through the years into high school, finally getting to the part that he had longed to do all this time... sparring. Albert wasn't the most skilled boxer of the bunch, but his sheer power and ability to take a hit let him use the activity as a way to let loose the frustration that built up from the day-to-day grind of school and life in general.

Life at home worsened quite a bit when Albert became a high school student at Plymouth Regional High (Ashland didn't have its own high school, and so children living in that city went to the neighboring city of Plymouth for secondary education). Miranda and David were beginning a divorce that would see Miranda moving out, taking with her just about anything that wasn't the house or Albert. To get away from the strife of the household and the alcoholic that his father became, Albert only came home to sleep, and was only conciously around his father when he was working at the lumberyard, which he began to legally work at when he turned sixteen. While he was always somewhat of an extrovert, the aggressive aspects of his personality began to tone up. Albert went from wearing more mundane clothing to his current style of fashion, and his beloved taste in music, once kept hidden from his parents, was now stapled all over the walls of his bedroom. When he wasn't boxing, working or listening to music in his room, Albert was out hanging with his friends or attending a concert of one of his favorite bands.

When attending a concert for Kill Carnival, Albert traditionally wore his shirt that he got signed by the band's drummer, as well as an elaborate layer of clown makeup that's similar to the makeup worn by all the band's members (Kill Carnival has, as the name might suggest, a clown theme going). When in the clown getup, he would refer to himself as 'Captain Brady', which is what the band would call his 'clown-name' (band members went by stage names such as 'Bozobitch', 'Hobo Harry', 'Gacy Wayne' and ' RiotGear'). When Albert was drafted into Arena for his raw fighting prowess and aggression, he asked that he be allowed to wear his makeup for the fights, a request that was honored.

DESIGNATED PPNK (Pink Player)

Designated Weapon: Batman Cape

Conclusions: One thing I can say for sure about the Captain here, he'll definitely be one of the more memorable contestants. Weird makeup, self-imposed nickname, ridiculous joke weapon... I don't know if he'll make it very far on nothing but his fists, but he'll definitely give the viewers a show one way or the other.
