How to Tagball

Tagball is a game that is preferably played with ~10-18 players. Unlike haxball, scoring goals is not the objective. At the beginning of each round, 1 person is randomly it. He must tag another player by hitting him with the ball. Whoever is still it at the end of the 1 minute time limit is out, and must sit out until there is a winner.

NO GOING OUT OF BOUNDS, especially to avoid being tagged. If you go out of bounds to avoid the ball you are instantly it. You also can't intentionally remain partially out of bounds.

NO PUSHING WHOEVER IS IT, this could also automatically make you it.

THE LAST PERSON WHO TOUCHED THE BALL IS ALWAYS THE ONE WHO IS IT. So if the person who is it tags someone but it bounces and hits you, you are it. Self-explanatory.

ONE PERSON MUST ALWAYS BE BLUE. Everyone else is red. This is in case someone scores on the blue goal, without someone on blue the game couldn't continue. Blue must be given 2 seconds to get to the other side (if necessary) before being tagged.

WHAT MAP IS TAGBALL PLAYED ON?
- for 14-18 players, it should be played on BIG MAP, LEFT SIDE ONLY (right side is out of bounds)
- for 10-13 players, it should be played on CLASSIC MAP, FULL
- for 7-9 players, it should be played on SMALL MAP, FULL
- for 3-6 players, it should be played on SMALL MAP, LEFT SIDE ONLY
* these are rough estimates

When it gets down to 2 players, a simple 1 minute 1v1 match on Small will determine the champion.

Anyways, the best way to learn is to watch the best players in action. Luckily, I recorded some footage:
