EXAMPLE: Luke Skywalker 1. Do not alter the template. The formatting of the template is deliberate. The fully-coded version is available below and must be used for all character submissions. If the template formatting is altered, the character will not be approved. 2. Force adepts are restricted. Although the example application lists the Force adept statistics, new players will not have immediate access to Force adepts, as Force adepts must be trained in-character. 3. Do not fill out the statistics. All new members have 200 free points regardless of the quality of their writing sample, but the writing sample is reviewed and graded as a part of the approval process. The statistics of your character will be filled out by a member of the staff after you post your distribution in Personnel Records. 4. Only one starship may be owned. Regardless of wealth or status, new characters only have access to one starship. All starfighter, freighter, and transport classes are available for new characters so long as they existed in canon at 4 ABY. 5. Lightsabers are restricted. Although the example application lists a lightsaber among his weapons, new players will not have immediate access to lightsabers, as Force adepts must craft them in-character. 6. All fields must be filled. If a field is not applicable to your species (such as hair for a twi’lek) or character (such as the spousal field for an unmarried character) you may fill the field with “N/A”. Fields may not be filled with “N/A” arbitrarily. If the staff decides you have done so, you will be asked to fill it with a legitimate answer. 7. Certain species are off-limits. The Whills, the Duinuogwuin, the Aing-Tii, any extinct sentient species, and members of Yoda’s race are not permitted in the roleplay. Shapeshifters, Falleen, and Chiss will be approved or denied on a case-by-case basis, and are not guaranteed to be allowed. 8. Format your title correctly. When posting your application, your title should read as your character’s name followed by the roleplay’s current week in brackets. For example: Luke Skywalker [Week 0]. The writing sample is worth 100% more than a standard grade.
