there is more proof (suppressed no doubt) inthe belief of geocentrism than bill nye has for non intelligent design ......stephan hawking was quoted as saying (in refference to geocentrism) we just cant believe that ...........even though the physics are stronger for the earth being the center of the universe. in other words galaleo might be wrong......interesting how the push to discredit geocentrism also has a taste of anti- intellagent design Geocentrism is a great read also if anyone has an interest. if we assume satan has not gotten his claws into science we will be in trouble quickly

An interesting theory put forward is the theory of Gravitational Time Dilation, which proposes that the farther one gets from the core of the earth...time runs faster. There are two clocks, one in England (if memory serves) and one in Colorado. I think they are called "nuclear clocks," but they are supposed to be accurate beyond imagining. I can't remember if it every year, but I think it is, that they have to be realigned, or, synchronized. The clock in England runs faster than the clock in Colorado.

As a Young Earth Creationists, often I see the Scientific Community, particularly those hostile to Creationism, give statements as though it is undeniable scientific fact, such as the light from stars would have taken millions or perhaps billions of years to reach the earth. From a Biblical view, I see that God said "Let there be light..." and it appeared. That light was in existence before the creation of sun, moon, and stars is one of the first things God informs us of in Scripture, presenting Himself several times in Scripture as the source of light for all men. In the Eternal State we see this same thing, no need for the sun or the moon..."for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof." When debating those that take a "scientific approach," for me, it is simply a matter of waiting for science to catch up to the spiritual things of God. It is not difficult for me to imagine that time runs faster the further we get away from the center of the earth, as I view this as the habitation that God specifically created for man. I see it as a waste of time, really, to explore space, for I do not think God intended for man to travel away from this earth.

But, I also see in Scripture a principle that applies to those that are hostile to the Word of God: they can read Scripture and create for themselves a suitable case for something that those of us led by God in understanding Scripture can see as to be error. Why not see the same principle concerning the physical universe?

Science is only beginning to broach the study of the universe in which they can theorize an existence which we cannot put under a telescope. Believers for millennia have known this to be revealed in God's Word as the spiritual realm which we, as physical creations bound to the physical existence...cannot travel through. It is ironic that Science Fiction has led to a number of inventions and has given man reason to consider certain things which would fit perfectly into a spiritual existence, such as wormholes or transporters. That's just kid stuff for Angels, lol.

Theophilus has posted on here that there will be a debate between Ken Ham (one of the more known Creationist Apologists) and Bill Nye. I hope to get to see that myself. He has given a link where it might be downloaded for free. Obviously there are areas of debate where, due to a lack of knowledge on both sides, they will remain unknown to us. Men like Ham are criticized as "pseudo-scientists by certain in the scientific community, and their adherents scoff, but even in our own trade we can see scientific principles that can easily account for some of the anomalies in the geological record. You and I can, on a hot day, freeze things with basic materials from our trucks. Imagine that on a global scale, compressed gasses released from the earth's interior and what affect that would have on the surface. But it is fun to debate about these things, and as long was we maintain what is revealed in Scripture, oftentimes we can debate reasonably well.

And glad to see you back, TM, I am zealous of every member, lol. Hope all is going well with work and the family, and hope the Lord is blessing you in all that you do.

God bless.
