Long story short, think clashing Masons. Only roles in the game are 3 different group mason leaders, and a lot of villagers. Then the mason groups fight it out until one has more than half the living players. Still has the day lynches, just to keep it interesting and give the villagers something to do, and the groups can steal players from each other. Keep it mason though so an entire group can't be eliminated just from killing one person. I have no clue if anyone's ever done something like this before, but I'm thinking of trying it after some of the Christmas games end.

The nearest thing I can think of that was like this was Ideologies, but that was a real fun game so I'd totally be up for this.

Ok, so what I'm getting from this is 3 or so cults that can nightkill and a lot of villagers.

I'd definitely be up for this, if the masons/cults had some unique characteristics. For example, Mason leader A can determine someone's role each night, mason leader B can protect someone from conversions, and Mason leader C could kill anyone that visits him. Otherwise, it'll hit stalemate really fast.

If there was a conversion on each side each night, and there was a lynch each day, I don't think that'd be very redundant. Besides, the problem with that is that once someone is converted to the other side, they can say "Oh, X is the cult leader of that side so convert him/don't so we have an advantage."

What if the leader for each side couldn't be converted?

Accounted for.

I think it'd work just fine as just three vanilla masons. Adding leaders with specific powers just makes it so one team is potentially more powerful than the others. I also didn't see anything about night kills, Airborne. Just lynches.

Nope, no night kills. And I didn't give the Leaders any powers so that no one side would hit a huge disadvantage from losing it's leader. (Of course, we could also do it as each has a powered leader, and if the leader dies/is converted the rest of the team votes on a new leader, but all three leaders would have the same power/powers for balance)

Ideologies the first.
Ideologies the second.

Partially because this reminded me of that and partially because those games are always worth a look.
(Basically I think extra powers should go to third parties instead of to the mason leaders.)

I'm thinking about throwing in a fool just because. Either way, I think I'll put it up this weekend.
