So. I decided to make a game as fun and ridiculous as my earlier Firefly Maf. As I have recently read Fate Stay Night, that shall be the topic. I welcome advice, but keep in mind that this will be very unbalanced.
Speeds are descending SS,S,A,B,C,D. Requires 14 players.
Rules As normal mafia games, but everyone is a PR. 2 types of players, Masters and Servants. Everyone has a different win condition, as explained below. Joint wins are rare, but possible. You must play for your team, this means Servants must play for their Master. A Servant may take action against their team if the Master sends the host a PM about it. The only exception is to fulfill a win condition specific to that servant. (ie. Lancer and Old Archer can attack each other, even though they both work with Kotomine) Copypasting the PM you are sent detailing your role is strictly forbidden. Metagaming is not allowed. An example of metagaming might involve checking to see if a person is viewing a topic or using the PM system by looking at their profile. There is no posting of screenshots. The dead are forbidden from posting anything that can affect the course of the game.
Masters Emiya Shirou- Wins if all enemy Servants are dead. Starts knowing Saber. 1.Saber’s Sheath: Can survive one kill per day/night cycle. (passive) 2.Projection: Can copy another player’s ability by following them at night and choosing a target (Either same person or different) If multiple abilities are available, one will be randomly selected. -B Tohsaka Rin- Wins if all other Masters and enemy Servants are dead, (Shirou may be alive or not). Starts knowing Archer. 1.Stored Energy: Can augment a Servant by giving them a second action each night. (PM host during the day phase the player selection) If Rin is lynched, does not take effect. 2.Home Field Advantage: If followed, has a 40% of killing human followers and 10% of killing Servant followers. (passive) -S Kotomine Kirei- Wins if all other Masters and enemy Servants are dead. Starts knowing Old Archer and Lancer. 1.Grail War Oversight: Can follow one person a night to uncover their identity.-D 2.Dark Power: Evades a single kill each night. (passive) Matou Shinji- Wins if all other Masters and enemy Servants are dead. Starts knowing Rider. 1.Coward: Avoids a single kill and learns the identity of the one who tried to kill him. (passive) 2.Aggressive Action: Can follow someone and has a 20% chance to kill them each night. -C Kuzuki Souichirou- Wins if Caster wins. Starts knowing Caster. 1.Martial Artist: Can follow someone each night and try to kill them. 50% chance of success on Human, 20% chance on Servants. –C 2.Acceptance of Defeat: Will attack whoever kills Caster and sacrifice himself for a 50% chance of a kill. (passive) Illyasviel von Einzbern- Can joint win with anyone if the Holy Grail activates. As she is indestructible, she will automatically win, but remain in play until another win condition is fullfilled. Starts knowing Berserker. 1.Homunculus: Cannot be lynched. (passive) 2.Holy Grail: If 6 servants are dead, Illyasviel cannot be killed by night action and can joint win with anyone. (passive)
Servants Saber- Wins with Master. Starts with Emiya Shirou as Master and knows him. 1.Bodyguard: Can choose to protect a person as a night action. -S 2.Magic Resistance: Blocks first night kill (even if protecting) each night (passive) 3.Excalibur: Can follow someone at night and kill them. 25% chance of being publicly revealed next day.-A 4.Needs a master: If Saber’s Master dies, Saber dies as well. (passive) ArcherWins with Master, as long as Shirou is dead. Starts with Tohsaka Rin as master and knows her. 1.Reality Marble: Once per game, prevent all deaths per night except a target of your choice. Kill the target, regardless of passive abilities (exception is Ilya's Holy Grail). Archer is also immune to passives while in this state. –SS 2.Swordsman: Can survive a single night kill per night and has a 20% chance to kill attacker. (passive) 3.Independent Action: Can survive 2 cycles if Master dies and form a new alliance. (passive) If no alliance formed, dies. Lancer- Wins with Master, as long as Old Archer is dead. Starts with Kotomine Kirei as master and knows him. 1.Gae Bolg: Can follow someone at night and kill them. 25% of being publicly revealed next day.-A 2.Panther-like Agility: Can choose to have a 50% chance of being given a single Servant identity or survive a single night kill each night. –D/passive 3.Needs a master: If Lancer’s Master dies, Lancer dies as well. (passive) RiderWins with Master. Starts with Matou Shinji as Master and knows him. 1.Mystic Eyes: Follows and Hooks one person per night. –S 2.Bloodfort Andromeda: After 2 day cycles, randomly kills one enemy player per night. (passive) 3.Independent Action: Can survive 1 cycle if Master dies and form a new alliance. (passive) If no alliance formed, dies. Caster- Wins if all Masters (except Kuzuki) and all enemy Servants are dead. Starts with Kuzuki Souichirou as Master and knows him. Also knows Assassin. 1.Rule Breaker: Can follow someone each night and if person is a Servant, has a 50% chance of becoming Master for that Servant and the Servant will ally with Caster. The previous master will be notified that the Servant switched sides. -D 2.Caster Class: Can be a master. (passive) 3.Needs a Master: If Master dies, Caster also dies. (passive) Assassin- Wins if he encounters Saber, regardless of result of game. (Will be told if won at end of game, and will play until victory regardless) Starts with Caster as master and knows her. 1.Guardian: Can protect one person per night. -S 2.Tsubame Gaeshi: Has a 50% chance to kill someone following him. (passive) –A 3.Needs a Master: If Master dies, Assassin also dies. (passive) Berserker- Wins with Master. Starts with Illyasviel von Einzbern as master and knows her. 1.Twelve Labors: Can survive 2 deaths each day/night cycle. (passive) 2.Rage: Must follow one person per night and kill them. 50% chance of being publicly revealed next day. -A 3.Needs a Master: If Master dies, Berserker also dies. (passive) Old ArcherWins if he is the last player standing except Kotomine(can be alive or dead). Starts with Kotomine as Master and knows him. 1.Gate of Babylon: Can copy any other active (non-passive) Servant ability except Caster’s Rule Breaker, Archer’s Reality Marble, and his own Enuma Elish. -? Has no chance of detection, regardless of ability. 2.Enuma Elish: Instantly kills anyone through protection (except Holy Grail). Reveals identity next day. 3.Independent Action: Can survive regardless of having a Master or not.
