Hajime Hinata - SHSL ???
Hope:
Secretary - The other students look to you for advice and as a leader of sorts. They admire you so much, that if you are ever killed at night, then the next phase, no voting can occur, as the other players will be too busy grieving. (If killed at night, no lynch can occur the next day. Guns can still be fired, and Grenades can still be passed, however.).
Despair:
Terrorist - You're unusually charismatic, and falling into despair means that you manage to convince one of the other students to join your cause, and engage in a mutual suicide pact with you (Once per game, at night, chooses a player. At the end of the next day phase, both he and that player will die)
Nagito Komaeda - SHSL Good Luck
Hope:
Distraction - Each night you can choose another player. Any harmful action directed at that player will instead affect you (harmful actions are: Killing, Targeting by Terrorist, Vote becoming worthless, Having a trap placed on them, being Yakked, being silenced)
Despair:
Scrambler - You're insane. Like, completely insane. If you feel the sweet bliss of despair, which you had previously thought yourself becoming incapable of succumbing to, then you can spread confusion among the other students. For that night, no-one will be sure of what they're doing, and will just wander aimlessly. (Once during the game, you can randomise every non-mafia player's actions at night. Their action will be RNG'd to target a random other player (which can include yourself and the other mafia members). The mafia kill will go through as normal, unrandomised.)
Chiaki Nanami - SHSL Gamer
Hope:
Treasure Hunter - Treasure is super important in video games! It can be items to get you to new places, it can be things that heal you, it can be money to buy you important stuff, or... well sometimes it can be totally useless. But the surprise of finding treasure is always nice! You're going to spend your time on the island looking around for treasures! Sometimes the things you find are.... a little weird though. (Each night you can choose to hunt for treasure. You have a 50% chance of finding something. The items you can find are: A bulletproof vest, which protects you from one kill attempt for the next day / night cycle, A newspaper, which will reveal one player's alignment to you and only you, and a grenade. You must pass this grenade to another player, who can then choose to pass it to another player, and so on. Whoever is holding this grenade at the end of the day phase has a 25% chance of it blowing up and taking them with it. If it doesn't explode, it's a dud, and gets thrown away).
Despair:
Bombergirl - Videogames are great. They're your way of escaping from the world for a little while. Unfortunately in your despair they've kind of taken over your life, and you think that you've become a version of one of your favorite video game characters. You've got a stash of pretty effective grenades too. (Each night, can pass a grenade to another player. At the start of the next day phase, this player can then choose to pass it to another player, who can then pass it to another, and so on. The grenade has a 75% chance of killing whoever is holding it at the end of the day phase
Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu - SHSL Gangster
Hope:
Influential - You're a pretty big deal. A pretty big deal indeed. You can use your influence to make yourself much more important than everyone else, if you want to that is. (Each night you can choose to increase your vote by 1 the following day. This has a 100% chance of succeeding at first. The next night, you can choose to add another +1 to your vote, however this has a 50% chance of succeeding. Each night you can choose to increase your vote by another 1, however the chance of succeeding will half each time. If you fail to double your vote, not only will your own vote become worthless the next day, two other random players will have their vote reduced to 0. They will not be informed of this, and you will not be informed which players it was. If you choose not to double your vote, it resets to 1, and your chance of successfully increasing it returns to 100% the next night.)
Despair:
Yakuza - Although it's a little cliche, you've fully taken on the gangster persona which you were admittedly a little unsure of before despair grasped you. So much so, that others are always after your throne in the seedy underworld. If you die, they'll take your place. (Once per game, can choose to kill himself at night, while targeting another player. He will die, and that player will be converted to mafia)
Ibuki Mioda - SHSL Light Music Club Member
Hope:
Virgin - Everybody loves Ibuki! And Ibuki loves everyone! You're just happy to spend time on the island with the others, playing, having fun, all that awesome stuff! You don't want to hurt anyone! (If you are killed, everyone will be too busy grieving the next night for any actions to take place)
Despair:
Informant - Ibuki also loves sneaking into other people's rooms and scaring them! Yup! She loves that! Maybe a little bit too much... (Each night you can sneak into another players room. The next morning you will receive a PM letting you know any PMs that your target received that night)
Kazuichi Souda - SHSL Mechanic
Hope:
Blacksmith - Your best skill is making things, and making things work, and repairing things, and... well anything to do with being a mechanic really. You've been able to make some interesting things from the materials on the island. (Each night you can choose to give another player: A gun, A Bulletproof Vest, or a Flashlight. The gun allows them to shoot another player the next day, however it has a 50% chance of failing, and a 50% chance of revealing the shooter. The vest gives them a 50% chance of surviving a kill for the next day / night cycle, and the Flashlight allows them to follow another player the next night, and see if they visit anyone else, however it has a 50% chance of revealing them to whoever they follow).
Despair:
Fabricator - If you fall to despair, then you reverse the efficacy of your manufacturing, making things designed to kill. (You can make the same items as you would when village, however the guns will always fail, and always reveal the shooter, the vests will not offer any protection, and the flashlight will tell the user that their target didn't visit anyone).
Gundam Tanaka - SHSL Animal Breeder
Hope:
Telepath - You stalk silently in the shadows, alongside your four dark gods of destruction. They whisper their secrets to you, and you in turn communicate these secrets to a lucky chosen human. (You may send private messages to other players during the game through use of the B.Nonymous account.)
Despair:
Whisperer - The dark gods whispering intensifies, along with it does your willingness to pass these dark mutterings onto other unsuspecting players. (You may send private messages to other players during the game through use of the B.Nonymous account.)
Byakuya Togami -SHSL Heir
Hope:
Party Host - Unusually, you feel that the best way to keep everyone safe is to have a party, with food, drinks, frivolity, the lot. (Once during the game, you may PM the host declaring that the next night will be your party. During the party night phase, players may post in the thread as normal, and all actions will be cancelled).
Despair:
Saboteur - You have alot of influence. Well, your family does. You have a team of people to do things for you, but you don't like being obvious about it. You prefer for your work towards bringing everyone into despair to be a little more... subtle. (Each night, can target another player. If that player is holding or receives any items, they will be converted into the fake version of that item.)
Mikan Tsumiki - SHSL Nurse
Hope:
Psychiatric Nurse - Your medical training is pretty useful on the island! Especially when things take a... sinister twist. (Each night you can choose to protect another player from any attempts made on their life. This protection extends to the degree that any attempts by the Yakuza (if present), will fail.)
Despair:
Voodoo Lady - The training that you have also extended to deep, dark regions of dark medicine. Particularly Voodoo. Useful if you should fall to despair. (Each night you may choose a word that is longer than 4 characters, and another player. If that player says that word during the next day phase, they will be killed).
Hiyoko Saionji - SHSL Classical Dancer
Hope:
Loudmouth - You seem sweet and polite at first glance, but when you open your mouth people realise that appearances are massively deceiving. You're really loud, rude, and not exactly... charming, to say the least. But you like it that way. You don't want any of these idiots getting too close. If they do, you'll be sure to embarrass them for it. (If any player visits you in the night, you will insult them in thread at the start of the next day (e.g: I couldn't get any sleep last night over the noise of the pigdog Player X's shouting, how inconsiderate! They should just die!)).
Despair:
Girl who cried Wolf - You're going to make sure to embarrass these losers as much as you can. Maybe it'll make them turn to despair, just like you! (Each night you can choose another player. You will insult that player in the thread at the start of the next morning. Any player who visited you at night that night will also be insulted).
Akane Owari - SHSL Gymnast
Hope:
Investigator - Time to put that athleticism to work! You're good at sneaking around, and your natural gymnastic ability makes moving across difficult terrain, including treetops, easy! (Each night you can choose to either watch or follow another player. If you watch them, you will see all other players who visit them, if you follow them, you will see all the other players that they visit).
Despair:
Silencer - You're able to fit into tight spaces with no trouble! If anybody comes looking for you, they'll never find you! You can do the same with other people, but somebody will probably notice if they're quiet for too long... (You can choose to silence another player each night. That player will not be able to post in the thread the next day).
Nekomaru Nidai - SHSL Coach
Hope:
Hunter - You're the best coach in the world. You can coach any sport to anyone, and they'll get better at it. Of course, you have to have an extensive knowledge of the sport too! So extensive is your knowledge, that you can draw on it should anyone make an attempt on your life. You might go down, but you aren't going down alone! (You can choose a target each night. If you are killed the next day, by lynch or other means, your target also dies).
Despair:
Strongman - As well as being an excellent coach, you're also an excellent motivational speaker. Should you need to use these skills for spreading despair, you will. (Once per game, can force a mafia kill to go through regardless of any protection in place).
Teruteru Hanumura - SHSL Cook
Hope:
Chef - You are an amazing
cook chef. So amazing in fact, that you can make other people reconsider their life choices, and re-evaluate everything about themselves. (Each night you can choose 2 players (you can choose yourself). These players will both be served a delicious meal. The two players will be informed that they are at a meal with each other, and they may communicate with each other that night by PMing the host. (They will not be informed by the original PM of each others role. Any decision to reveal this to each other is their own to make). They will be asked if they wish to switch characters with each other. If they both agree, they can switch characters, but not alignment, at the end of the night phase. If one of the players says they want to switch, and the other does not, then they will not switch. Similarly, if they both do not, then they will not switch. You will not be informed of the roles of your targets, but you will be informed if they switched roles. If the two players choose to switch characters, then no players will be able to switch character with each other for the rest of the game.)
Despair:
Table turner - Your deception skills are second only to your culinary skills! You can most definitely use that to your advantage. (See the description given above, however with one change. You must always choose yourself as one of the diners. At the end of the night phase, if you and the other player agree to switch roles, you will switch and then they will be killed, with their role as Teruteru. All PMs between Teruteru and his target will be sent through the host).
Sonia Nevermind - SHSL Princess
Hope:
Trapper - You're the princess of a totally real not-made-up-at-all kingdom, and you have access to a massive range of resources. Possibly even more than the Togami family do. Included in these resources are a range of traps which you find particularly useful. (Each night you may place a trap on another player. The first player (according to the speed chart) to visit your target will be killed. Attending one of Teruteru's meals does not count as a visit).
Despair:
Witch Those traps sure are useful. And you enjoy seeing how easy it is to watch people crumble when they take effect. (Once per night you can place a trap on another player. The first player (according to the speed chart) to visit your target that night will be killed. Attending one of Teruteru's meals does not count as a visit).
Mahiru Koizumi - SHSL Photographer
Hope:
Pathologist - Your photgraphy skills are incredibly useful, and you have been asked to document everything that happens on the island. Even this... less pleasant stuff. But you agreed, so you have to do it. Plus it might turn out to be useful experience for job applications, who knows? (Each night you can target a dead player. You will receive a PM the next morning containing all the PMs that player received over the course of the game, including their role PM and alignment (the names of the other mafia members will be removed in the case of targeting mafia).
Despair:
Framer - You've been able to turn your skills at setting up a shoot scene to the maximum, and can rearrange a crime scene to make it look like someone else committed the crime. (each night you may choose one target. Any watching / following / investigation of any kind (including Nanami's papers) will show that person to have targeted the victim, or will show that person as being mafia aligned.)
Peko Pekoyama - SHSL Swordswoman
Hope:
Diplomatic Bodyguard - Your sword wielding ability is second to none, however you will not use your sword unless you absolutely have to, preferring instead to try and reach a diplomatic solution. (Each night you may choose another player. You will protect that player from any killing action directed towards them. There is a 10% chance that you will also kill the attacker).
Despair:
Hitman - Your skills with a sword will not go unused should you fall to despair. Similarly, your sword will not go without tasting blood at least once. (Once per game, you may kill another player on top of the regular mafia kill)
Third Party - Monomi / Monokuma

Hope: Monomi - Angel - You are completely against this maniacal plan of that dweadful bear! You're willing to do whatever it takes to help the students through this! (At the start of the game you are assigned a player who is on the village side, but you are not told their role. her aim is for that player to survive until the end of the game. If her target is killed, she leaves the game.
Once during the game, she may guard that player from all harmful actions for a full day/night cycle
Even if she is dead, if her target is alive at the end of the game, she wins).
Despair: Monokuma - Lyncher - One of these kids particularly bothers you, and you want them dead. (At the start of the game, he is given the name of a player (Can be either mafia or village). His aim is to lead a successful lynch against that player. He must be the first to vote in the lynch or it doesn't count. Once the player is lynched, he leaves the game as a winner. If his target is killed by any means other than a lynch led by him, he leaves the game).
