So, I was thinking about hosting a game where no-one can rely on Power roles to lead lynches (Yes another one), however this time I was thinking of trying something a bit simpler than making EVERYONE a PR. The roles in the game would be as follows: Village 1 x Doctor 1 x Tracker 1 x Bomb holder (Is not aware that they are holding a bomb) (x) number of Villagers Mafia 1 x Yakuza 1 x Hooker 1 x Goon What makes this game different? As per usual, at the start of the game, every player is RNG'd a role. The difference is that each night, after using their action, a village PR will return to becoming a regular villager, and a new villager will be chosen by RNG to become that PR. Obviously if the RNG chooses someone who's dead, then someone else will be given that role. In the case of the bomb, this role will be assigned to a random player each night. If a player is not active, or if they chose not to use their ability, then the role will still be assigned to another player. A player cannot be two PR's at once, so if they are chosen to have two different roles on the same night, then the RNG will decide which they keep, and the other will be given to another player. The mafia roles will not be rotated. It is entirely possible that one player could be the same role multiple nights in a row, but it's not likely. The bomb holder is unique in this game. They explode if they are killed at night, however they will also explode if they are lynched. Either way, they will take a random player who targeted them (either with a mafia vote or with a lynch vote) with them. If the Yakuza targets the bomb holder, they will not explode, and the bomb role will instead be removed from the game. If the hooker targets the bomb holder, they will not explode that night, or the next day. Once someone holding a role is killed, that role is removed from the game. For example, if player A is the Doc, and they are killed, the doctor will be removed from the game. When a player gets a role, they will not be told who had it before them. Similarly, if a player has a role, they are not told who it goes to the next night. I think that's everything. If anyone has any questions, post them here, I'll also take pre-emptives if anybody wants to sign up. I'm hoping to leave this in discussion for maybe 24 hours or so, and then I'll open it. EDIT: CLARIFICATION If a player is a power role, they use their action, and will receive any reports relating to that action the next morning. At the start of the day phase, they become a villager again, and another player is told that for the next night, they are the PR in question. Edited by Daymafter, Jul 17 2014, 05:06 PM.

The problem I can see is that this is actually EASIER to get clears in. Since, obviously, only villagers can be PRs, outside of a Yakking, anyone who's ever had a role becomes instantly clear. Even if a Yakking happens, just scrap the list and start anew. It simply forces CCs all day every day, and that's the riskiest ploy ever. Also, if someone dies while PR, is that role taken out of cycle? |

Yep. If someone is killed while a PR, then that role is removed. EDIT: Also, an idea that just occurred to me. Instead of a hooker, I may include a tailor instead. The fact that it would be too easy to get clears is clear now that I look at this again, and so this role would help with that issue. Edited by Daymafter, Jul 18 2014, 08:29 AM.
