All righty. Not Factions anymore, it's a modified FFA. Each player will have one of the 4 Elements of Scumhunting; Power, Skill, Passive, and Heart. There will be 3-4 of each ability available, so the game size will be either 12 or 16. (20, is max. This would be nuts.) Each Element will have an individual ability with a cooldown of 1 turn, where they can't use any abilities. You will also be able to coordinate with your fellow players to pull off Fusion Abilities, which have a much bigger bang, but a much bigger cooldown. (usually) Basic Rules: - Vote to lynch in the day phase. Ties result in both tied players dying. 3-way ties or more end with no death. - Players start alone and can only use their solo powers. To use your fusion powers, you must make a pact. - A pair of players can make a pact at any time. You can only be in a pact with one person. Once you're in a pact, you can't leave. Players can only joint win with their partners. - If a player in a pact dies, the partner dies as well. - Both players must PM me that they are going to be combining for the fusion. They don't have to be from the same team, but there aren't many opportunities where that's an issue. - If a player is in cooldown, they can't use ANY abilities. If you're in a pact with another player, both players must be out of cooldown to activate the ability. Elements: - Power - - Give yourself a boost in strength and make your vote worth +1 in the next day phase. - Cooldown: 1 turn - Speed Rank: D - Skill - - Weaken your opponent to make his vote worth -1 in the next day phase. - Cooldown: 1 turn - Speed Rank: D - Passive - - Target one player, if they are in cooldown, it is extended 1 turn. - Cooldown: 1 turn - Speed Rank: E - Heart - - Target one other player, they will be protected from one vote next turn. - Cooldown: 1 turn - Speed Rank: E Fusion Abilities If anything screams to be OP please tell me. DISCUSS! Edit: Abilities modified a tad. Warning

Hmmmm, if it ended up being 3 teams of 4 and they got 2 Hearts, I could see the Heart/Heart ability being really deadly. I'm also a little surprised Power/Power wasn't the straight out kill, to be honest. I haven't examined each role thoroughly yet, but as mentioned, I'm really excited about this concept.

Well, having the Power's solo ability be a buff in vote power, and Skill abilities usually used to target other players, I thought this would be better for it. |

Is it safe to assume that there will be conversions of some sort? ./terriblememory despite just reading Also, will the powers be completely RNG for the entirety of the signup list, or in-between factions? Let's say there's 12 players, you put 1,5,9 for Power, 2,6,10 for Skill, 3,7,11 for Heart and 4,8,12 for Passive or would it be more like 1 team = 4 players each player one of the powers, RNG'd |

that's the thing, I'm not too sure whether or not to just make every team have 4 of each, or have them missing one element and have them have 2 of another. It will probably end up being the former. |

I'm posting in here partially to remind people this exists, since I'm planning on testing this after the games, but also because I think I could add a couple rules to make it more interesting. If this were in a tournament style, you would earn more points for winning Solo, though it is unlikely. Reviews would be cool. |

Woop, so tempted to play. Question: Are there day and night phases, or just day phases? |

LordQ: It will be in Day/Night phase format. Probably 48 hours max for day and 24 max for night. Aviana: I'm trying to balance it so that the teams of 2 can have a chance at winning in a final 2 team scenario, but there may be a tie if a pair of teams can find a way. If you can win solo I will be very impressed. |
