We as admins have not been doing a good job of policing the chat. As it is an extension of the forum, the forum rules still apply inside the Skype chat. From now on, breaking any forum rule in the Skype chat will lead to you being kicked from the chat and any applicable forum punishment will be applied. This will apply especially to NSFW content that is untagged; not tagging NSFW content leads to a next-level ban on the forum, and you will be punished in the same regard if you do not tag it IN THE SAME MESSAGE AS THE CONTENT. Simply posting "NSFW" after the message does not count as tagged. As for what qualifies as NSFW, NSFW is anything with profanity, pornography, nudity, or drug references in it. If you think it -might- be NSFW, it's NSFW. We will not tolerate untagged material any longer. Any appeals regarding Skype-related bans will be dealt with in the same way as on the forums; there is a subforum you will be able to access, and the appeal process will take place in a thread on there.

As such, "from now on" applies for that since we were being far more lenient than we should have been with that. More extreme cases (which were not just you, there have been other times we needed to act) were always handled using forum rules as stated in the OP of this topic.

The admin team has discussed it, and we've decided to define spoilers more concretely. 1) Anything that gives away plot elements. I think this was already pretty clear, but just in case it wasn't, now it is. 2) Anything that gives away characterisation. This includes any discussion of dialogue, character appearances, anything like that. Those are the main two criteria for if it's a spoiler or not, but honestly, err on the side of caution. Giving away funny minor interactions that aren't in the original, if the game is a remake, is probably not a spoiler but it's still pretty rude. If it's a remake, redesigns probably count as spoilers, even if they don't fit the two criteria, as the goal is to wow the audience and knowing ahead of time can ruin the effect some. Etc. and such. That said, those are the two hard rules the admin team will use to determine spoilers.
