Basically, I've been thinking about doing one of these for a while now, and it's my turn to host on Nuzlocke next, so here's the game I'm planning to do. Criticism will be helpful. Though as far as I remember this is what the original VC games were like over there anyway. Roles: Village: Fortune Teller-Each phase, you can find out the role of one player. The results will come back as soon as possible. Nurse-Each phase, you can protect a player from death by a lynch and all abilities. This will work for the current phase ONLY. Faithfuls-The faithfuls both know who each other are. Villager-You can only vote in a lynch. Cult Grand Master-You are the leader of the cult. You know who the informant is. You don't get revealed by any investigations. Your vote counts for two in the night kill. Informant-Each phase, you can discover the role of one player. You know who the Grand Master is. Disguised Cultist-You come up innocent to any investigations. Sacrifice-When you are lynched, you can choose one player who will die, regardless of any protection. Cultist-You can do nothing but vote in the mafia kill. Public Mayor-This is randomly assigned to one player at the start of the game. Everybody knows who this player is. This player can only be a villager or a cultist. Once per game, this player may stop a lynch. They can assign and take away the judge role when they want to. There is only one mayor at a time. Judge-This is randomly assigned at the start of the game. All players know who this player is. This player can only be a villager or cultist. The judge's vote is worth two votes. Game-Specific Rules -No players know any other players unless specifically stated in their role. -Phases last 48 hours each. All abilities, kills, and lynchings happen during this time. -The mayor and judge roles can be assigned to the mafia at the start of the game. -If the mayor dies, during the next phase all players must vote on a new mayor. -If the judge dies, the mayor can assign a new one. -The village wins by defeating two-thirds of the mafia. If the Grand Master dies, this number becomes two-thirds minus one (2/3-1). So, if there are six cultists, four must die for the village to win if none are the GM, but only three must die if one is the GM. -When a villager dies who has a power role, they are only stated as being a 'Villager, Special Role'. Yep, this is pretty good. Balance will depend on the numbers you assign to it though. However, I do remember that the mafia being balanced depended on the win condition of the town being that only 2/3 of the mafia needed to be dead. And if the Grandmaster was alive, then it'd be 2/3 of the mafia minus one. |

Edited some things with the roles and rules. Now, only vanilla villagers/cultists can be the mayor/judge at the start of the game. I also removed the Hooker role and added the Sacrifice and the Disguised cultist. The Grand Master got a double vote in the night kill as well. Oh, and now Q's rule was added because I forgot about that. |
