Answered prayers

About 5 months ago I began praying for two things that I'd always thought weren't worthy of God's time. They seemed so insignificant. I prayed for God to give me the strength to do two things: stop biting my fingernails and take the initiative to lose this baby weight (3 years later!) I've tried (on my own) for 28 years to quit biting my nails but never last more than 2 weeks ;) And I've never been they type to enjoy the gym. Almost immediately after I began to pray for these things I decided to try to grow out my nails. I'm happy to say my nails are long and gorgeous now! This is nothing short of an answered prayer! I don't even have the urge to gnaw on them anymore :) I've also been getting up at 4 am every weekday morning to get an hour in at the gym (for almost 2 months now!)

No prayer is insignificant to God. It took me 28 years to learn that lesson. God knew how much I wanted to improve on myself and He is giving me the strength to do these things. :)

Wooh! I love this! Thanks for the great reminder that our God is BIG enough to handle the small things too. :)
