Roleplayer: Chihari Literacy: Literate-Advanced Literate Name: Ogawa Chihari Alias: Whatever anyone happens to yell at her that day. Age: 13 Gender: Female Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Kin: A three-year-old younger brother, all others are deceased. Status: Single Sexuality: Bisexual Loyalty: Herself, and her younger brother Teppei. Occupation: Thief Height: 4 ft 6 inches. Weight: 95 lbs. Likes: Food, warm weather, animals, her brother, music, kind people, water. Dislikes: Pity, cruel people, cold or hot weather, rain, rats, bugs, getting pushed around, being treated like an idiot. Personality: Independent and self-centered, she's not the type to want to make alliances, but will if they benefit her, but will then ditch them when she feels that they are no longer needed. The only people to whom she will remain completely loyal are those related to her by blood, or those she considers family. She is a hot-tempered individual who thinks she is much more capable and much better than she actually is, and gets furious with anyone who treats her below her self-decided level. She is a bit gruff, even to those she likes, and can really mouth off at times. She is fiercely protective of her younger brother, and has a soft spot for small children. She hates being oppressed or confined, and doesn't like any form of authority or people trying to exert power over her. She does have a protective personality, whether it is of herself, her younger brother, or anyone else she has deemed worthy of her protection, which would be a very select few. If you are able to earn her respect, she is more apt to listen to you, though she will not reliably obey your orders. You would have to gain both admiration, and her absolute, unwavering respect in order for her to obey you. That respect would have to be mutual. Habits: She dresses more boyish, as boys clothing is typically made from cheaper fabric. She also has a habit of tugging on her clothes when nervous, and gripping the legs of her hakama when angry. Chihari is unable to read or write. Inventory: A container for carrying water, a couple jars for carrying things, small amounts of food she has managed to obtain, and two puppets two entertain herself and Teppei. Weaponry: A dull knife that she stole. Ability: As for fighting ability, that is pretty much nil. She can throw a few good punches, but that is pretty well it. She is a very skilled pickpocket and petty thief, and can occasionally con the very stupid, though she is not a very adept liar. She is a good, fast runner, though her endurance is sometimes a little low. Appearance: Is quite short, as you can tell from her height. She tends to cut her hair herself, so it's uneven and boyishly short, as well as being very dark and thick. She has black eyes framed by long eyelashes, a small, round face, a little nose that has been broken a few too many times, and a stubborn set to her jaw. She is skinny from being a street kid, and has also acquired the dirt and scars that go with it. One rather pronounced scar curves down from her left eye all the way down to her chin, a lesson taught to her when she was just starting out pickpocketing by a man that caught her with her hand in his wife's bag. Her clothes are ragged and dirty, and she often goes barefoot. She has a darker skin tone from always being outside in all the elements, and her skin is also quite dry, rough, and calloused. Biography: She grew up in the slums of one of the poorer districts, and had to pickpocket from a very young age in order to help earn food money for her family. Her parents tried their best to survive in those slums, but they took sick some time after her older brother was crushed to death by a horse. The shock seemed to have been too much for them. They passed away a few months after taking ill, first her mother, and then her father. She was left alone to care for herself and her tiny baby brother, in whatever way she could. Since she'd grown up in the slums, she was already accustomed to the constant hunger, the violence, how to scrounge and pickpocket, and how to scout out suitable, relatively safe places to sleep. The only difference was now she was her own boss, with nobody to look after her, and responsible for both her own life, and that of her brother. Anything she didn't know, she picked up pretty fast. |
