A character may only specialize in up to three elements, starting with one and gaining the other two as they develop. Please note that these spells do not affect the one who casts them. Lightning: Strikes the enemy with a single bolt of lightning. Thunder Wave: Unleashes multiple bolts of lightning within a given area. Spark Wave: Creates a large orb of electricity that repeatedly hits the target. Size depends on skill with this spell. Fireball: Unleashes three fireballs that fly towards the target. Eruption: Brings forth magama from beneath the target. Explosion: Causes a massive explosion of fire near the target. Wind Blade: Sends forth a blade of wind. Air Thrust: Hits the target with multiple blades of wind. Cyclone: Conjures a massive tornado of wind. Duration depends on amount of skill. Grave:Surrounds the target with peaks of earth and crushes them, causing serious damage. Stalagmite: Causes a continuously rising spike of earth to come up under the target. Quake: Causes the ground within fifty feet of the user to shake as if there were an earthquake. Magnitude depends on the level of skill. Icicle: Causes a single sharp icicle to form under the target. Ice Tornado: A cyclone of ice and snow whips the target into the air, then sends them crashing down. Snow Storm: The target is buffetted by ice and hail. Duration depends on level of skill. Bloody Lance: Mystic symbols hold the target in place, and then lances of solid shadow pierce them with ferocious power. Strength depends on level of skill. Photon: Light traps the target, then explodes and causes minor damage. Ray: An orb of light appears above the target, then sends out several rays that cause moderate damage. Holy Lance: Mystic symbols hold the target in place, and then lances of solid light pierce them with ferocious power. Strength depends on level of skill. The following are skills that may only be learned by evolved half-elves. Retribution: A skill that only the most skilled may learn. This spell causes a random status effect to all that it hits, determined by dice-roll. It may only be used every ten posts, provided that no spells are used within that limit before or after. 1 = poison, steadily causes slowing of blood flow and breathing. Curable by panacea bottle, which is sold in item shops. 2 = paralysis, prevents use of special skills. Curable by panacea bottle. 3 = weak, halves the strength behind offensive blows. Curable by magic bottle, sold in item shops. 4 = Unaffected Judgement: This skill rains solid light on the battlefield.
